I have had a ridiculous run in the cup this season, ranked 30 something, I've drawn bots in every round including getting the only bot in the last 16.
Has anyone had this sort of luck before?

I can remember a few managers having this sort of luck back when I first started but nothing recently.

Do you think I would stand any chance in the quarters if I come in to the game with something like obsessed enthusiasm?
Or would I need to bring in some new faces as well?

anything can happen, but if you can afford some solid new faces I would suggest you do that, you can always sell them after that.

You have a chance with that kind of enthusiasm but a new face or 2 would help as well. It also depends on who you will be facing in the quarters because not all teams are even.
