Also at some point they will have to understand that you don't fix this just fiddling and fiddling and fiddling with the demand side without ever touching the supply side. You can easily speed up point 5. above and make it less painful if you just increase the training speed, which, it shouldn't surprise anyone, would also boost the value of training...

Agreed. I've been advocating an influx of high level trainers (with low starting salaries), which would help boost training speed and the economy.

Agree 100%. If they can give a heads up with a mid-season announcement to inform anyone purchasing trainers as well, that would be a bonus.

I've seen a 3m bid on an exceptional trainer who wasn't that special yesterday...

Speed up training
Make it more flexible
provide more trainers to make them cheaper

Suggested for years now. Unless they change something to fix the economy the user base will continue to shrink.
I wish you nice xmas and happy 2017.

We don't need trainers at all. Chasing those guys on the transfer market is just a huge distraction and annoyance.

I suggested a few times, to get rid of staff and introduce fixed spending levels. for 1k you get a lvl 1 guy, for 100k you get a level 7 guy. other levels accordingly.

This would be extremely fair, as everybody would have the same chance to spend money. I am sooo not looking forward to replace my trainer, as it will completely piss me off to spend like 4 million on a level 6 guy again. Maybe I will have to bid on multiple guys before I get one of them. This will cost me a couple hours of my precious time. Definitely not worth the experience.

Everything was better in the past

Much has been said in the forums about these new changes. This never changes. Each time there are new changes new threads are created where users discuss and criticize those changes. I think this is healthy. If there were silence on the forums I would be worried.

Yes, the past was great. But reflect on your own life, on history...reflect on the parts that were enjoyable for you personally. I'm sure you will find yourself saying the same thing: the past was better.

I'm definitely no extrovert or optimist; however, each time new changes are added to the game I eventually (having liked or disliked them) arrive at the same conclusion:

It's a game and the parameters have just changed. Cool. Time to adapt...again!

So to all those who aren't just voicing sensible opinions but are attacking GMs (in other threads)...

...chill out...it's just a game...see the changes as a chance for you to adapt. Even if it harms your immediate or long term plans...deal with it.

Or, as I tell my students: Toughen up Princess!

MERRY XMAS ALL!

I wasn't directing my comments to you specifically, mate. My apologies if you thought so.

Take care.
