Ah I didn't notice and just looked at the box scores which probably gave me a false impression of who the starters were then, that will explain a lot. Good that we can lose two guys to injuries and still have an easy win then.

spewin though, based ont he first 3 minutes of play, Lawrie was on his way to a triple double

2 assists, 1FG, 1 steal in 3 minutes.

that translates to 48 points, 24 assists and 12 steals for 36 mins of play. Im so devo'd - would have been awesome to have seen him score and pass that much.

seriously though only 9 steals/12 opposition turnovers for a FCP against weak opposition - seems a bit low on a stat-side of things

Next season, I'm going to have an Aussie 5/5 A+ 18 y/o SF trainee, 6'4. I could use some help with a training program from the get-go, if anyone who is good at training SFs can help me out (I'm currently having a go with two other trainees but my guys aren't fantastic). Would like to be able to produce a truly amazing NT player in the long term. Am happy for this to be a project (i.e. I don't care about my team's success so am happy to do whatever is required for a good player).

Hopefully he'll actually turn out to have some decent stats and not just be crap.

Depends on his starting skills. He could be all Handling, Driving and Rebounding and Shot Blocking.
So without seeing the build it is hard to give much of a plan at this stage.
but he should be very good. At his height I would look to at some stage get his IS and ID to 10 to 12 and then do heaps outside skills training.
When the draft is done the coach of the 21s goes and looks at every draftee who could be useful and adds them to the side to be able to check his stats and makes a list for the coaches to contact. Best thing would be once you get him message Iwen and ask him then.

Good luck
