Yeah I do, why's that

Because half the teams wont have a home game that week.

As much as you will hate me for saying this, Buzzerbeater is a Basketball Management game and not a Basketball coaching game.

Unless you are confident of promotion this season, then I believe you need to make some changes to your roster, get your economy back in the black and grow your stadium.

This shouldnt be too hard for you as can wait a few weeks, to further cement your spot "out of the relegation Zone" before selling a player.

One of the biggest decisions Ive made in this game was back in season 15, after I realised that my current team at that stage wasnt going to get me promoted.

I sold Fallon who I had trained for several seasons and who had played for the Aussie U21s as well as several other favourite players of mine who were good reliable serviceable players but were not capable of getting me to the ABBL.

Not long after making these tough decisions I promoted

Thanks a lot BB for giving me a week with no home game!!

08/07/2013 Total Geelong Vipers cash reserves: $ -648 900

I think I'm fucked.

its all good, you've got a game this sat, which will bring you back under 500k and lets you live to fight another day. Im just like you buddy, no home game last wk and now im @ just a tad over -500k, home game 2moro will bring me back under 500k and another wk of survival

I don't like any of those options.

Suggest something else please...

Options

Somehow financially survive the season without selling players and promote against the odds
Slash and burn staffing salaries and watch several of your team spend time out injured.
Sure up a position above the relegation zone and then sell one player
Go bankrupt slowly and watch all your team go up for sale
Win the battlers tournament against the odds, use the cup proceeds to aid cash flow
Sell your entire squad when the market is up and buy some young cheap trainees, watch them develop into Aussie U21 players and tank your way down to Div IV
Set up a second team and pay over the market price for a couple of your scrubs, then watch both teams go bot
Ignore the red ink
Campaign for becoming a GM and then (miss) use the GM button
Bite yourself and put yourself out of your pain
Listen to and take Sids advise

u wont have a choice soon. Two weeks after having a -$500k balance at weekly economic update, if your still not above -$500k, then ur players will be auto-listed on the transfer market.

So BB is in essence, going to make the choice for you.

The home game on Saturday should push me back below the -$500k limit, so I'm assuming the two weeks would then start again on Monday?

I dont believe that this is correct.

I believe the 2 weeks start when you are below -500K before the financial update.

i.e. if your indebt 499K on the Sunday evening before the financial update, you wont start the two week time clock

If you owe more than 500K before the financial update occurs, that is when you will get your bankruptcy warning bbmail
