Was that the draft? Vikings wound up taking Kevin Williams, who was pretty damn good for them.
Yep. I'm trying to remember if Jacksonville traded up with Baltimore to take advantage or if Baltimore picked and then the Jags got in, but it was kind of a big deal here since it was the first time the Jaguars had actually drafted a QB high in the draft. (They did, however, draft a WR who was always high, both before, and after, and after again, and after again again even, and I might be leaving out another one).
(I just looked it up. Baltimore was trading up to 7 with Minnesota to pick Leftwich but that fell through, so the Jags ran the card up.)
