Well, it appears that my opponent when out and bought 3 guys before the deadline. So i guess i will be facing some form of a team. They were all pretty expensive old guys so i guess they will score on me.

Im not sure if he paniced or what happened, but he sold to very promising young players, even a starter on the U21 japanese team. Not sure what he was planning, but at least it will be 2 lucky fans and not 5.

I imagine i should still win this game, but if he does manage to sneak up on me, ill keep you guys posted.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

Did u try mailing him and asking what his plan is he might not tell but no harm in asking.

I just think it's funny that the boxscore says "X put more into this game than you did" when you sent out a starting five and they didn't.

Well, 2 25-0's later and i am staying up. You guys have every right to call the JBBL chopped liver, because that is what it is.

He sold all of his good players before the deadline and didnt even start a real player in the playoffs.

I mean 19721 guys came to a game with only 3 real players in it.

This is beyond disappointing.

If I'm not mistaken, he/she can then work to get promoted in whats likely an easy league next season and make another $1 million from the promotion bonus... that would be my guess

1 mil in promotion bonus true that, but wouldnt it be financially better to just stay in div1, u get more fans coming to games, higher merchandise and tv contracts...

say div1 teams makes on avg 100k more then div2 teams per week... theres about 11 weeks? thats already your 1 mil there.

plus coming 1st in div2 would give u bad position in the drafts compared to coming in the bottom of div1

It is possible that his team went bankrupt.. It happened in my league last season when the no.1 team put all his players on sell because his debt is more than I think $500k.
