Good thing I didn't update this, I was just working on it lol.
Tough draws this week, good thing most the tough draws are on the Big 8 side.
2 teams got CT'd, that I know of.

I think if Nashville plays for the cup and NTH plays the lineup he played tonight then Nashville shouldn't have a problem winning of course.
C'mon Great 8, lets represent!

I doubt nth has reached the cup semis twice in the past five tournaments by running that kind of lineup out against competitive DIII teams or better, so I'm not planning on that happening.

I've already gone and set my lineups for all three of next week's games. My decent depth will give me a shot at all three games, unless nth runs out his best team against me. I probably won't have my best lineup out against each opponent, but I won't be losing any games by 75 points.

My Cup opponent Grey Barons is from my old DIII stomping grounds.

This might be old news to you guys but I am quickly finding out depth is much more important in DII than the lower divisions. Battling in a league this competitive plus the Cup is tough on game minutes.

Yeah, when your three matches are against your rival, televised, and against an NBBA team, it becomes difficult to decide who sits in which game(s)!

no joke about it being tough to manage minutes. I am currently running my guys into the ground. An option is to train Game Shape, though I am not sure how strategic that is with training young players.

I hear that. I'm running all my starters into the ground. Luckily I was able to keep my minutes a little bit more manageable this past week and have decent GS and an easy cup draw this round.
My guess is as good as anybody at this point as to who will and wont make the playoffs/relegation.
I hope I either make the playoffs or relegation, I think I might kill myself If I land in 5th again..

Thursday is going to be interesting for me. nth will be without 3 of 5 starters (80+ minutes this week), and will be suiting up either 5 or 6 players, depending if his $3K salary rookie gets some burn. What I'm wondering now is how much HCA will factor in.

Managing minutes in DIII was a whole lot easier!

I'm a bit frustrated with myself. Should've gone low post to have a chance. At least now I can set my lineups fairly mindlessly from here on out...
