Lol, at least these veterans are motivated and they understand how to win. I've been a fan of the Heat since they drafted D-wade, mostly because they drafted him because I liked him at Marquette, and depth is what they need at this point.

i liked the heat too, cuz of D Wade. but now, how can you root for them (unless ur from miami). i lke all 3 as individual players, but together, theyre one of those dominant teams that a lot of people hate

I'm not all that high on Bosh either. Averaging 20 and 10 on a mediocre team is very doable, (Shareef Abdur Rahim, anybody?) He's tall but not really a 'power forward' if you know what I mean, they do need a true center and Big Z nor Haslem really fit the bill when it comes to Dwight Howard. Against the Magic I'd think you'd actually be better placing LeBron on Howard, keeping him off the block. You could stick Bosh on Lewis, I guess. Lot of roster moves will happen before we can really assess what's going on.

You dont really have to worry about guarding Howard too much. Just throw bodies at him to eat fouls if need be.

GO MIAMI!!! They will take it this year.. the are not many teams with that good defenders that can stop D Wade and LeBron and also Bosh,, You are all looking at one of three most scorers in the league, good rebounder's especially Bosh and LeBron, and also we have LeBron and D wade that can share the ball,, men common clearly the best team in the league, I'm not saying they will get to the end with no looses.. but they will not be many if they can play together...

GO Miami!!!

I'm not so sure. Lakers still match up with them pretty well.

Fisher/Blake vs. Chalmers/?? - LAL
Kobe vs Wade - even
Artest/Odom vs. LeBron/Miller - Miami
Pau vs Bosh - even
Bynum vs Big Z - LAL

Doubt the matchups will look that way. Mario Chalmers will not be starting, friend, nor will Big Z. Miami, as they are now, will play big in the backcourt. Lebron at PG, Wade at SG, Miller at SF, Bosh at PF, and Take Your Pick at C.

Then there's not much difference. Instead of Fisher/Blake guarding Chalmers, they'll just guard Miller. They'll do the same thing they did with Ray Allen, chasing him through screens, etc since Miller's a spot up shooter like Ray.

You're comparing two different offenses and two different players. LA's going to be a lot less concerned with chasing Mike Miller, who is option 4 in Miami, as opposed to Ray Allen, whom Boston ran a ton of set plays for. Miller isn't fast enough to waste time setting screens for him.

You watch, he'll just camp out in the corners and when the opposing defenses collapse on LeBron or Wade, presto, there sits Mikey in the corner all alone. He'll shoot more threes than twos this year I bet.

I see what you're saying about running set plays for Miller. It could happen with all the focus on Miami Thrice.
