I don't get why the BB's half-assed the way NT games work. Minutes and injuries don't count, but yet GS outside of NT games does? Either NT games should be completely excluded from any statistic, or they should count towards all. This half and half thing just begs for abuse.

Cool story... After I defeated this ShootingStars fella here in the S12 playoffs, he told me I was going to lose the finals and that he was rooting for my higher ranked opponent, but not to worry because I would get promoted due to bot cleanup. Funny thing is, I pulled an upset and won the finals series. Then in S13, he went on to lose against them but got promoted due to bot cleanup. How is that for karma? Sorry, brother I think you had that coming :) Seriously, congrats on your promote and I wish you success in DIV. I am curious about one thing. You seem to have some rather strong convictions about NT games for a newish team that has never even had an NT player on your roster. What is that all about?

Actually, if I remember correctly, I said I thought you were going to lose to PKU because on paper, he had a stronger team. I then said I was rooting for him in the finals out of selfishness. Mutiny had gone undefeated and was sure to advance on record. You, too, had a strong team and a good record. PKU had a strong team but had more losses. So it was in my best interest if he beat you and all 3 teams were gone for the next season. It would make promoting that much easier for me. I don't really view it as karma that PKU beat me in the finals last season since a) My rooting for him against you was nothing personal against you (and I even said as much in that post you refer to, I'm sorry you felt hurt by it, that certainly wasn't my intention) and b) I knew he had a stronger team than me, in fact, that's precisely why I wanted him to win the previous season and not have to face him.

That being said, it's not that I have strong convictions about NT games. My criticism is about how they're handled by the BB's. Minutes and injuries don't count. Ok, I get that. They're "fun" games to allow bragging rights between countries. I'm all for that. But GS from the regular season counts. And that's where the abuse can occur. One country can sabotage another by buying an NT player and ruining their GS. That's what I don't agree with.

Awe man don't worry about it, I never took offense. I'm just screwing with you for siding with the enemy. Carry on.

I just wonder...Why nobody bid on a player who's salary more than 300K?

I saw a lot people bid on 100K player but not 300K player...What is it for?i

Not many teams can afford to keep a player with 300k salary on their team. 100k salary is much more affordable. So more teams bid on the 100k player than the 300k player.

Depends on the skills, but I wouldn't train a player past 200k at the most. And train balanced skills (so inside and outside skills).

You cannot fire a guy who is in NT.

But few seasons ago, we had a great promising center bought by polish team. During a season, he had a very bad game shape as a played 48*3 each week, so at the end of the season during the common review made by NT coach, he we left outside the NT. This was at this moment, he we fired. We never could save him. Since them, he has a quiet retreat.

What a pity. The guy was a beast.

LOL, I know, I was hoping I could sell him and try to get back some more of what I spent, but it seems I'll have to sell him low, it's better than going bankrupt.

Man, what a stupid mistake I made :(
