In the end I blew too many matches and had to Normal too many times at the end to match his Crunch Time

I agree, and in retrospect I definitely should have CT'd. I was on vacation in Palm Springs all week (I know, poor me) so I wasn't thinking about Buzzerbeater at all. Applying some of my poker-level thinking would have revealed that I should have CT'd. no question.

I just wish I would have, doh!

CT in the SF will end up the norm in the competitive leagues. Tough decision will be for higher seeds in the QF, when you know the 3/4 will CT.
