Anyway... enough already man, I think it's clear what your opinion is on it. As is mine.

I'm officially in the camp of blank line-up is a bad idea.

I had tried it in a PL game last year and tried it again in my B3 game (48765240) last night. I was playing a much better opponent and expected to get beat. With nothing to lose I thought I would try and see how it worked. And if its really as good as advertised then maybe I would get a surprise win.

Well, the verdict is in again and it does not work. My player ratings are lower than normal, my team ratings are lower than normal, and it makes very dumb line-up choices. David Ferland, my stud C (currently on the US NT roster) plaid most of his minutes at SG, my best SG played most of his minutes at PF. I have 3 scrub ($2K) minute eaters on my team and they also saw significant playing time, etc, etc......

So if you try this you are asking for trouble. I'm wondering if Wolph is trying to convince people to do something stupid so he can get more of an advantage.

I regularly quizzed my opponents in U21, and I'm yet to meet a manager (other than Wolph!) who thought it gave any advantage at all.

The absolutely insane thing about this Wolph is that you talk about it like it's a "tactic".

It's the complete absence of.

It's an exploit. It's the Game Engine not working as intended.

Look: be my guest. Play your B3/League matches with blank line-ups. Go nuts.
But YCs been VERY clear on his intent to not do this. You disagree, and that's your prerogative... just as it's t he prerogative of anyone else to disagree with your stance.
Can you stop pushing it here tho'? That topic's been dealt with by the current coach, and it's a stance that appears to have the support of the majority of those posting here.

I don't know if you want that kind of impact, but honestly, I'm pretty blase about any and all things BuzzerBeater. Most of what you've said is only getting a response from me one step above complete apathy.

Tell you tho': your posts aren't coming across as simply "giving info".

I agree with you that it's worthy of debate, I just don't think this is the thread. Feel free to make a new one, and I'll happily partake in discussion there.
