Well I'm not tanking...not carrying the same salary as last season, as I was bleeding money, BUT I still hope to compete at least for a playoff berth!!! Of course it is a bit easier on my side of the division.

I do understand the financial benefits of tanking but I just can't bring myself to do it, and to be honest if it got to that stage I would probably let my team go bot and start a new team from scratch...

No plans to tank for me, haven't deliberately tanked ever, did drop from div 2 before due to focus on training but always tried to compete. Trying a new tactic this season with 2 stars to lead the team on the court.

these are my draft picks just as bad as what I got last season. giving them all a game today before I fire some of them.

No just doing different training this week and resting other players.

The problem is, tanking to far too financially beneficial at the moment. I can't blame guys for doing it, as it's pretty easy to make good money for a season and quickly build up a big bank account.

The problem is that when I promoted from div3 I had no money.
because in order to get out of III.12 I had to be running at a negative with about a $360k roster.
It was the only way out, it's been the only way out of that league for seasons and seasons.
So now I've been struggling to stay a float for a few seasons in div 2 and not looking like ever making any progress coz I was making about $30k a week before I sold gab wall. So I made a very very hard call to sell my prized trainee and to move on to smaller and cheaper things :P
if i could do it without tanking i would, but from where i sit i need to fill 4 starting spots to be competitive. so for now this is the position i find myself in
i hope after this season i will never have to tank again.

Avalon Jets have been very active buying and selling players. They might be a player in a season of tankers

Damn they are now my rival

I hope Corio Bay realise he is cursed. Koop had an unbeatable team and lost with him his curse causing Radford to be injured. Direwolf never loses but lost with him. I went 1-4 with him last season and 13-4 once I got rid of him. Home Axis had a $900,000 roster against Fishys $500,000 roster but couldn't win because guess what? Snake Eyes! Corio Bay is going to get relegated this season.

although i have to admit, City Celtics did alright with him. i have find memories of getting pasted by him when he first made the Aus nat team. but that was div III... and this is now...... REVENGE BABY!!!!!!!!
