After season 10 the only winner who started playing BB before season 3 was ESV Laim. Many current macronations was made in season 3. It's only a detail and it makes no difference in the long run.

What's more important macronation doesn't give an advantage in the long run, only if we take a look on B3 competition. I'll explain why. You showed probably right calculations. It only means we have higher incomes, but not profits. Those profits are the key to success. There (in micro) is easier to tank, to gain money and still playing in top league. To win B3 you need only one shot. One season budget, which is easier to built in small nation. Check Bahamas, Tounes or Ghana (my favourite). Incomes might be 150-200k lower in comparison to league winners in macronation, but check their salaries. 5-6 season and they could fight for B3 champion. The difference is only "know-how". They (probably) don't know how to use their advantage.

With 1st part I agree, however you can win multiple times championship in micronation too. It's not reserved only for macro teams. It's about adjusting payroll to incomes.

Net worth for a good b3 team, and the price of their longterm players, assuming yo ucould even find similar quality on the list to rent in time, which you probably can't, is probably around 15million. EVEN if a micronation team can ride the DI floor and save up 300k a week for about 11 weeks a season and maybe break even during the offseason (very tricky time with new changes)...its gonna take them 5 seasons to be anywhere near amassed capital...and that's really 5 seasons AFTER they build their arena.

Moral of the story is that b3 is only for teams that have been playing for 2 calendar years. and the difference between dudes playing 18 months vs. 36 months is signifigant. difference between 36 and 48 also signifigant...difference between 24 months and 48 months, is essentially unsurpassable.

It takes:
- 5 seasons to built suitable arena (23k, I would even say 3-4 seasons)
- 5 seasons to gain 15 mln (with 23k arena)

10 seasons to built B3 team. Now ask yourself how much time you need to even compete in B3 in macronation? We can't go back to past, so we compare nowadays. How much time you need, if you set up new team in country with at most 50 users to compete in B3? Another question is - How much time you need, if you set up new team in country with at most 50 users to win in B3? And final question How much time you need, if you set up new team in country with at least 500 users to compete in B3?

I think it would be hard to find such manager who plays at most 10 seasons in macrocountry (>500 users) while his team plays in top league. I'm not saying competing B3, top league is enough.

I still think that the biggest problem is that the winners (in Div. 1) get so much more money than anyone else. It allows them to maintain much better teams than the other players which then lets them win more and so on. It would help game balance if the arena income depended less on how many games you win.

You're over shooting the combination of ticket and cup rev. I took home the sum of 1.1m in cup money last season, but the cost was losing league games and ticket rev. The last two seasons I'm averaging under 525k per home game. It's so difficult to win road games it's not possible to expect much more than 550k. Haven't even made 550 after a road game either.

If you only focus on league then you'll lose the cup and the money that comes from that.

Actually I didn't realize until this last two weeks how big the drops in arena income are just for taking 1 or 2 losses.

Its mostly road games. If you lose most road games, like most NBBA teams do, at best still only 3 or 3.5 overall for home games. In a perfect world you could have a strong enough team to aim for winning the road games and then cup games. That would take a team that's not just better, but much better due to the extreme effect of HCA in BB (roughly double the effect from real life/NBA).

Heres the performance of the trophy winning teams in both league and cup in recent seasons:

But for season 16, its clear that pulling both off is not common. Lots of league champs making it to the last few rounds, but if you dont win those you miss out on lots of cup money.

So cup winner in micronation (6 rounds) earns only 50k less money than cup finalist in USA and 350k less than cup winner in USA.
