Well I have planned to complete these every Wednesday so here is the rankings for October 29th.

#1 The Rajan Stajans - Whether he wants to admit it or not the Rajan Stajans are the class of Naismith. Currently they are putting up tremendous defensive ratings which will keep them in every game they play.

#2 Beanz Odyssey - Hard to place this team for obvious reasons. The Odyssey are putting up very solid offensive flow ratings and still don't seem to have found their offensive strategy.

#3 Syndicalist BC - Despite their slow start I think this 2 and 2 team is posed to be a contender down the stretch. Their large payroll and ultra talented players will have them trending upwards all season.

# 4 Moth Balls - Despite their record and mediocre results, the smelly balls are good. Don't expect to see them stay at .500 for long. They have been beat by Stajan and a desperate team on more effort.

#5 Headless Thompson Gunners - HTG or HGH? The Gunners have made quick work of their opponents this season and put some significant beatings on teams. The are running with a low salary but putting up strong ratings thanks to solid management.

#6 Lawrence Park Panthers - Mr. Burns is back...maybe or so we hope. This veteran team has enough talent to compete but is likely on the decline with players starting to drop skills, they have also had major struggles with GS to start the year.

#7 Superfreakys - Still confused by this team, but now confused and scared. Coming off a road victory with less effort the "Freaks" are on the rise. The team is talented well beyond their record and their ratings are starting to improve.

#8 Green Machines - Up, down, up, down. Not sure where the Green machines should slot but they have bounced around so far. They will almost certainly be a playoff team but have not put up consistent efforts as of yet.

#9 Quebec Pugs The Pugs sit at 3 and 1 based off of a soft schedule and some extra effort. This team will be in the hunt come playoff time based off of Sparky's enthusiasm and solid management.

#10 Laval Giants I wanted to put the Giants higher than the 10th seed but there are just too many good teams ahead of them. Their 3 wins to start the season is a great start and has them right in the mix. The big question is if they can keep it up or if they can add to the roster to become a true contender.

#11 Canuckleheads Holding steady are the Canuckleheads. The manager has put together a solid team but is still a few pieces from being a playoff team.

#12 The Hounds The Hounds are in tough with the current roster. Don't put it past their experienced manager to load up to avoid relegation or even make the playoffs, they always love a dog fight.

#13 Team Dragon This dragon is spitting fur balls at the moment. They do hold a few very solid pieces but will need to add to the roster to make any major noise in Naismith.

#14 Herman Griffins Experienced manager with a big income...Is this what they call tanking? Or is someone waiting to strike at the right time.

#15 SG United SG United is racing to the bottom. Not anywhere close to enough talent to compete, this club looks to be on the way out.

#16 Pszczyna Team He'll be back. Pro of a manager focused on training for the time being.

It is that time again so please check out the Power Rankings for November 5th.

#1 The Rajan Stajans - Rich and good! Damn, that is good combo unless you have to face this formidable opponent. Still the clear cut number one seed and at this point it is not even close.

#2 Beanz Odyssey - Holding steady at the number two seed, for now. The Odyssey have a tough two road game schedule this week so are sure to be fighting to remain undefeated.

#3 Syndicalist BC - Syndicalists are starting to roll...It was a tough start to the year but things are looking up now.

#4 Headless Thompson Gunners - The highest scoring team in Naismith moves up a spot to the number four seed. This veteran team is putting up impressive ratings and has recently shared some insane financial reports. Fans expect a lot from this team and won't let them off with just being a playoff team. Get off you wallet HTG :)

#5 Quebec Pugs - Behind a stingy defence the Pugs are sitting at 4 and 2. The schedule does not get any easier so the Pugs will need to continue using their enthusiasm as a tactic to get them wins when they can.

#6 Green Machine Let the yo-yo ride continue! Green Machine up to the 6th spot in this weeks rankings. Lets see if they can put in some consistent efforts and keep heading in a positive direction.

#7 Lawrence Park Panthers - Mr. Burns is back...maybe or so we hope. This veteran team has enough talent to compete but is likely on the decline with players starting to drop skills, they have also had major struggles with GS to start the year.

# 8 Moth Balls Free falling (that's a great song). A large payroll has not lead to great results to this point. Moth Balls manager will be looking to right the ship so expect this to be a short lived drop down the rankings.

#9 Laval Giants I am starting to believe that the Giants are for real. Keep on winning and I will keep moving you up the Power Rankings.

#10 Superfreakys - One word. Inconsistent!

#11 Canuckleheads Beating up on the baby Dragons this week keeps the Canuckleheads at the 11 seed.

#12 Team Dragon Dragons added a nice looking guard this week so should be able to put up some better numbers in the coming weeks. They now have the highest payroll of the new teams so better results will be expected.

#13 The Hounds Euthanize this puppy, haha that was funny (too me). The Hounds are no threat currently but in BB things can change fast.

#14 Herman Griffins Looks like the Griffins will be a constant bottom feeder this season. I sure hope I am wrong but there is no chance that this roster finds a way into the playoff picture.

#15 Pszczyna Team Pop, pop, pop. That is the sound of a team rebuilding. Hopefully the pops are a flowing!

#16 SG United Looks like the team has flat out quit.

Rankings updated for the week of November 12th.

#1 The Rajan Stajans - Despite a loss this week the Rajan Stajans are still at number. They play in the tougher conference and clearly made the decision to throw the game they lost.

#2 Beanz Odyssey - The big man-"less" team managed to stay undefeated thru what looked like it could be a tough week. That keeps them solid at #2.

#3 Syndicalist BC - A massive injury could mean for a drop in spots but for now they remain unchanged.

#4 Quebec Pugs - Up one more spot after a solid week. The Pugs are proving to be a formidable opponent this season despite having a relatively low payroll.

#5 Laval Giants - I am a believer. The Giants are no joke. Up 4 spots from the number 9 seed makes them the biggest mover on this weeks chart.

# 6 Headless Thompson Gunners - Down two spots are the Gunners. Not due to poor play or defeats but mostly due to solid performance's from others in the league.

#7 Lawrence Park Panthers - Game shape is improving as are their ratings and results. Expect to see Mr. Burns in top form come playoff time.

#8 Green Machine The machines are currently sputtering. They certainly have some talented pieces but just not enough to be consistently competitive.

#9 The Hounds Big movers just like the Giants this week. The Hounds are out to prove that they may have been down but they were certainly not out.

# 10 Moth Balls One of Naismiths highest payrolls currently sits outside the playoffs looking in. A tough Cup schedule is part of the reason for the slow start, but it can't remain like this...can it?

#11 Canuckleheads Holding steady in the 11th seed are the Canuckleheads. They have had a rough schedule to date so should be able to pick up more wins in the coming weeks.

#12 Team Dragon Dragons are still yet to get the results I had expected. Their high payroll has not been enough to gain them more than two victories. Playoffs are looking like a pipe dream.

#13 Superfreakys Complete sell off mode has the Freaks drop in the ratings to the 13th seed. With the money just made they obviously have room to make some additions if they choose to do so.

#14 Pszczyna Team Up another spot based on pretty solid ratings. As a training team not much is expected but they are preforming nicely.

#15 Herman Griffins The worst PD in Naismith at -469...yuck!

#16 SG United SG United will be a great team....in the second division.

You climbing is a result of some serious tanking. You would think McDavid was on the draft list the way these teams are stinking it up :)

I am starting to wonder how low I can go as well. I have made enough mistakes this season, just hoping to stay in the cup long term and sneak back into the playoffs.

Sorry gang, no power rankings from me for the next 3 weeks.

I am travelling and have limited access, so if someone else could pinch hit that would be awesome.

Keeping it going. *Rankings updated through 11/18.

#1 Beanz Odyssey - The team in the highest position of "power" with the top record and differential and enough financial resources that this ranking is definitely not objectively false. Has caught a few small breaks but can't deny the management has been flawless despite having one "true" big man.

#2 the ragin stajans - Strongest roster at present. Managing well, but getting hammered by cup draws and trying to shield from an early upset due to B3 implications.

#3 Syndicalists' BC - Shook off an 0-2 start and now sits 8-2. Last week, shook off a sizable injury and gritted out 2 tough wins despite extremely limited depth. Third team in a row capable of becoming not only a B3 competitor, but a heavy B3 favourite (to win) with the click of a mouse.

#4 Laval Giants - I went in expecting to decrease his ranking and instead did the opposite (albeit reluctantly and with a good deal of subjectivity). Despite a modest salary, he puts up quality ratings and is genuinely hanging with the big boys and has beat the other contenders for this spot. His schedule from here on out is brutally tough.

#5 Headless Thompson Gunners - HTG can sometimes be a little controversial. He can sometimes be a little loud. His team, however, is quietly great - and there's no controversy about that.

#6 Moth Balls - He was tenth last week at 3-5. I'll place him sixth this week at 5-5. Expect a further climb. This team is another absurdly good team, with what is probably a top 2-4 roster at present.

#7 Lawrence Park Panthers - There's no fountain of youth in sight, but his old fossils are still rock solid.

#8 Canuckleheads - Another quality new team. Had a very nice showing in a loss against SBC this week.

#9 Quebec Pugs - Despite an early cup upset, the Pugs dropped both league contests this week to fall to 5-5. His opponents were just too great. He'll bounce back.

#10 The Hounds - Excusably decided to tank what turned out to be a winnable a game this week. Probably didn't deserve to drop in placement, but other teams showed better while he held back.

#11 Green Machine - Good starting 5. Less good losing 5 straight games. A capable team that should avoid a relegation series.

#12 Superfreakys - Last week, sold off his players. This week, lost both games. I moved him up a spot regardless. FWIW, I think he made a good choice in selling off his players when he did.

#13 Team Dragon - Just not getting the right management right now.

#14 Herman Griffins - It's a bummer not seeing him in the playoff hunt and not seeing Stronks on his roster.

#15 Pszczyna Team - Also a bummer seeing him here. He's got a better plan in place than others in this area.

#16 sg united - Does the 'sg' stand for "sucks greatly"? No offence meant obviously. I've demoted more than he has.
