I don't like the Utopia NT idea too.

The NT would be too strong, with users all around the world, an the teams in Utopia are most used for training, so they could have a lot of advantage. The non existed country belongs where? Europe, Asia, Africa..?

Just get rid of this lame Utopian nationality and let those players be availiable for real NTs.

Preferrably add some twist, so that more micronation players become availiable, so those NTs get some relevance at last. Managing a 1 user nations NT is an embarrassement, if only a handful of good players are avaliable.

Soon the NT-competitions will become a five country thing - not good at all...

In this case 'Utopia' leagues/idea could remain. But yes, best maybe if they get rid of the players and make players of real world nationalities.


If the names are generated with existing databases, it might be easy to link those names with the corresponding nationalities. I hate my utopian guy for the fact I won't never squeeze any NT-money out of him - my fault I was too sloppy to check if there would be a NT in the first place. I love his skills though....

(in the case of Soccer USA team would suck if we only could use guys living in US!)


Heck, USA soccer is far from impressive even when you allow them to use players from the US.
