Flyer Sonic and it's twin towers will be going up against Hoop Magical who manage to inch out against Chai Chee during the 1st round of the playoffs.

Hoop Magical 74- Flyer Sonic 102
Flyer Sonic
Li An Wen 23.2mpg, 13.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.5Blkpg
Against Hoop Magical: 38.3mpg, 24.7ppg, 14.7rpg, 2.0Blkpg
Any Flyer Sonic fan would probably be pumped for the next match against Hoop magical. "Mr Perfect" Li An Wen(LAW) hits a div II.1 playoff record 10-10 FG against Bobbleheads and Władysław Smaruj showed Singapore what he can do in an all around performance of 16pts, 5rebs, 8assists on 7-12 shooting with only 1 TO. While it is too good to be true if LAW hits a perfect 10-10 again, he did outsmart Hoop Magical defence (24.7ppg, +11.2 compared to average) and outbang most other Hoop Magical bigmen (+6.1 against William Misa, +8.8 against Auturo Palma) so he will definitely be counted on to carry the team offensively. Both Władysław Smaruj, Marcell Dobrovits and at a smaller extent Ricaredo Potol will be finding any small cracks in Hoop Magical's stringy defence and set up LAW or Peh Jian Long (PJL). PJL has been pretty quiet offensively and it might catch Hoop Magical off-guard if Sonic gets him going early since Hoop Magical will almost most certainly send their best post defender against LAW. Sonic offensive players should keep their cool against Hoop Magical's tough defence and not force up needless shots. If the game comes down to the last shot whoever's guarding Bover (likely Potol) better glues himself to Bover to prevent him from breaking Sonic fan's hearts just like he did to Chai Chee's.
Hoop Magical
Maties Bover: 33.7mpg, 24.9ppg, 2.6apg, 47% FG%
Against Flyer Sonic: 35.1mpg, 23.9ppg, 2.5apg, 42.1%
Hoop Magical squeaked by in a closer than expected game against Chai Chee. Maties Bover was the hero of the match hitting a go ahead 3 when Hoop Magical needs it the most (he was 2-7 prior to the shot in 3pt FG) and carrying his team to victory. Bover's outstanding play must appear again against one of the top teams in II.1, Flyer Sonic. Ricaredo Potol might be afraid to shoot compared to Bover but he's no slouch in defence. Pick and Roll offense could be useful to keep Potol away from Bover for a second and take advantage of going up against a slower Sonic bigman. Hoop Magical should not go on a shootout against an offensively more capable Sonic because only Bover has that scorer's mentality. simply put, Sonic will outgun Hoop Magical in a fast game. Hoop Magical should try their best to slow the game down and get back on defence in an instant to disrupt any rhythm for Flyer Sonic offensive player. Instead of always isolating Bover, if Hoop Magical can get the big men offensively involved, LAW will be forced to play more defence, wearing him out making him possibly less effective on the offensive end. Hoop Magical has a tough task ahead of them. Maybe they can just stay within shooting distance throughout the game and let Maties Bover bail them out with "That Shot" one more time.
