Hey guys. I have a problem. I train two guards: one is perennial allstar & the other is a star. it seems that the star doesn't improve anymore since this season. his salary is 37k and he has some ups this season but in comparison with the perennial allstar, who trains very fast, the star is too bad. what do you think how much does the star slow down with the training? can't he have ups anymore? thanks for your help

I think you player is capped to his potential, so indeed he will improve very very slowly. Lets say at least 7 weeks per pop or something like that.

I would not train that player anymore, buy a new trainee and play his guy as a SF or something, while training SG/PG.

Thank you for your help. But is very hard for me to stop training him, because he is a very nice player, also in the NT of Belgium. 3 or 4 seasons ago, I didn't know that the potential would be an important point, now I am angry of myself! I would pay half a million or more to improve his potential ;)

It's a nice player indeed, but I guess indeed he would have been way more expensive if he had let's say MVP potential.

Nobody stops you from training him, he will still improve, but it will be at a very slow rate. Financially it would be better to not let him waste a training spot and sell him or let him play as a SF.

Ok, it's impossible to let him play as a SF. I'll keep training him this season, and then I'll have to find a solution. Tahnks PatjeBono for your thoughts.

Also...... like train his skills that are the least strong, because these will lead to the least increase to your salary..... like handling or passing or jump range, and also his salary was 37k.... its much more now.... This is a link to see what his salary is... http://www.how8.com/bb/index.php and then this is the salary caps based on potential....

I quote " This is the list that i have found, and most people in the thread that it was put in agreed with it.

bench warmer - 8k
role player -13k
6th man - 15-17k
starter - 21-24k
star - 33-40k
allstar - 40-65k
perennial allstar - 80-100k
superstar - 125-145k
MVP -165-195k
hall of famer - Unknown
all-time great - Unknown"

GM-Leye, who made that list already updated it with new info to this;

(117670.18)

Hi, this table was done when the new potentials were at the beginning, a few months ago I did one that is more consistent and realistic, but never forget that this are just estimations, and after the MVP level is just speculation, we cant know for sure how much an historic or a Leyend can develop.

0 Announcer: < 5k
1 Bench warmer: < 5k
2 Role player: < 9,5k
3 6th man: 11,5-13,5k,
4 Starter: 21-24k,
5 Star: 33-40k
6 AllStar: 43-65k
7 Perennial allstar: 80-100k
8 Superstar: 125-145k
9 MVP: 195-230k
10 Hall of famer: 500k+
11 All time great: 1M+

Regards.

Speed training depends on your trainer, players age, weekly played minutes(+48) and number of positions to train.
It´s the same training 2 positions(6 players) than 2 positions(2 players).
If you want to train a player for U21, contact with your NT U21 coach and he´ll tell you the minimum skills and what to train.

A few weeks ago, I picked up a lvl 5 trainer. I am currently rotating 5 players for PG/SG training. One guy is a star, his DMI is 118600, and it is becoming a bitch to pop anybody, never mind just him. I thought the higher the trainer, the better the popping?
