I love traning too.. Look at Rooney, he is still in my team since day 1 and dominating the errr abbl... kinda.
Doest matter, main thing is.. that he is still going strong.

yeah i was never really tanking... i was hovering around the 450k salary mark which was way above the salary floor.

and was only 1 or 2 players away from being competitive.

its actually your 670k to my 840k... and my HCA which was a big big factor.

better lucky in the return match when we play at your home.

Its an interesting move. I wonder whether you've left your run to late (for the league at least) - since you have 3 games to make up and a really tough draw coming up (your away games are against the teams currently ranked 1,2,3 and 4 in the big 8).

Adds a bit of spice to the great 8 now though, I was just thinking the other day that it looks like the playoff race there had almost been decided.

Makes life a touch more difficult in the cup to

Trainers are expensive. When I consider the $500k to buy them, the $50k a week they seem to cost me, the way I have to awkardly allocate minutes so my three trainees get them and the games lost so I can train the 18 year old guys it makes me wonder if Naker isn't right. Unlucky for me training is the most fun part of the game so I wont stop doing it.


My (exceptional) Trainer goes up to 26k per week next week, so I expect that I'll keep him until the end of season 21.

In the currant market you are definately better buying either established 100k a week players or players around the age of 21 whom have had 3 seasons training but whom can still be shapped as required.

Was losing interest in the game, so the training of players might help reignite that interest.

Would be nice to bounce back to the ABBL in season 22 for financial reasons but I expect that it will take longer than that to be competitive with my 3 trainees.

That said I could run next season at a 2 mill loss (1 mill after the promotion bonus) and be back in the big money of the ABBL the season after

My one and only aussie trainnee (Thanks Shaz & Iwen for not letting me get Guest), young 18 year old Ryder already has better passing and jump range than Duffill

HA was no match for DFBS in the other celler dwellers clash.

Probably didnt help that all 6 players of mine got fouled off and that the lucky fans who come on, performed above HA standards

It has been a couple of days of big spending.

6/13/2012 - Baxter Bogans has just acquired Andrians Helvigs for $ 1 040 400.

6/11/2012 - Chumunga has just acquired Brendan Elliot for $ 357 000.

6/10/2012 - CROCKERS has just acquired Orin Eldad for $ 800 000.

Looks like the quiet first few weeks are gone as teams look to establish inter-conference dominance. The first round went to the Great 8 with a great win by CROCKERS over Bell Park, Whitebeard won the big match of the round over MonkeyBiz, WA beating Aussie, Chelsea surprisingly taking down Chumunga and HA beating the bot. The Big 8 wins were Baxter beating Koop who decided to throw this one so he can beat the Fish twice this week, Black Label finally shaking their jinx and beating BHB and in what could have been the upset of the round the Goldfish looked like they were going to take down the mighty Wombats but three foul outs and an injury resulted in a late game collapse.
