Game 14 recaps
Crazy's at NP
Each coach came prepared and planned well on Tactics. Crazy's went inside and NP shot from outside. Most games Beckman and Gallano do a great job at carrying thier team but tonight they could not get it done. Neither shot well from 3 land as they only went 3 for 18. The Crazy's had a complete team effort and with no answer for Zabalbaru the NP team let this one get away. Crazy's 105 NP 84
Terrors at Blasters
Terrors have been playing great as of late and tonight they had some huge performers. Eason and Kramarski each had great games netting nearly 30. Ichaso and Barkan had an answer for the Blasters. 36 and 29 points respectively helped the Blasters put away a very good team. This game came down to one factor. Better shooting...........
Blasters 134 Terrors 115
Flames at Challengers
It's official not even a lineup anymore. Kiss yours stats goodbye guys. Challengers 25 Flames 0
Phantoms at Allstars
Both teams came out shooting the ball early and often. A huge edge on the boards and putting 5 players in double digits helped the Phantoms lock up another victory. Neither team shot well from the outside but the Phantoms shot better and had 12 second chance opportunities which spelled trouble for the Allstars. Phantoms 94 Allstars 78
Champaign at Crank Dat
Well both teams played at the same intensity and both shot alot......................but when you have a team who's owner hasn't checked in with his team in a month the team tends to let things go a bit. Crank Dat put six in double digits and that was more then enough to put away the Champaign boys. Crank Dat 100 Champaign 50
VD's at Prov City
It's official folks............Ken Wilson is on fire. He drained 36 tonight on a good Prov City defense. Prov City had a problem the whole game which was turnovers. 21 looks like alot until you see that one player Serra, had 10 all by himself. Talk about being on the wrong side of a double double. Despite the turnovers Prov City put a little more into it then normal and were able to shoot their way back into this one..................from the free throw line. Each team had over 20 fouls each in this one but Prov City shot better from the line and that was the difference here. Prov City 103 VD's 99
Tachenko at Bobcats
I will be the first to admit that it is hard to figure out which Tachenko big man to guard. But you do need to pick one of em. Tonight Bobcats let em score early and often Tachenko had their own problems guarding just about everyone. Despite Martinez scoring 39 points the Bobcats had a huge 3rd quarter and never went down again. Cats 119 Tachenko 107
Dutchmen at Phakeouts
Phakeouts have had a rough spell of late and put their heart into this one. The Phakeouts went low and their big men responded but Romary, Gagis and Hutson responded with big games. Poor shooting from 3 pt land by the Phakeouts and good shooting from the charity stripe helped Dutcmen take out the Phakeouts. Dutchmen 96 Phakeouts 85
MVP Martinez from Tachenko 39 pts 12 rbs 4 asts
Big 8 30
Great 8 26
Great 8 pulls right back into it. With Flames and Champaign both wiffing it the Big 8 should pull ahead easily at the end when intra league ends. Not fair but nothing we can help either.
Congrats to Great 8 for putting the whup down on the Big 8 at the allstar game.
