I think a couple of folks under-estimated the Spartans, as well as having a reasonably easy opening schedule.. Also Wolfy stuffed his ENTH by CTing a game when i guess his ENTH was already 5.. so that wouldnt have helped... He has beaten the 2 bots, and an undermanned Plebs.. still pick him to finish 5th ahead of me...

I wouldnt worry about that salaries Hippo, keep doing what ur doing.. I think ur pretty well rounded, your lower salary players dont drop off as much as the others, so if u can control their primary players, ur pretty much on an even keel :D

Plebs have turned it around well.. a couple of early losses has obviously spurred him on... selling a draft pick for 600k was a nice boon as well, allowing him to spend the cash where needed..

It's definiitely the plan Bainsy, not gonna sacrifice 1 pos training on Atoy cause a 2ndary trainee didnt get the mins :P Will prolly give the mins to Rios this week.. he has the higher potential, and lower skill i am training out of the 2 options... If atoy dont pop this week, then the other guy will catch up next week :D as long as 2 trainees get the mins i am happy, 3 is just a bonus!

yeh little fortunate. although i think donny is better than 6 and 7 on the other side anyways.

ahh depth yeh i knew i was missing something hopefully we can get that once fans start returning to the plebisite arena.

keep in mind that ACT just sold Danak so have a little money to move.

also its not the size of salary its the way you skill points make up your salary and the way your players compliment each other.

that is where i think your team has its strength. i can say for certain but you have a team and spending less then me who may have 5 individuals. but we will see how my team can perform on the court. i still have some glaring weaknesses that if i had the money i would like to address. also some of which can only be fixed through training

Neeber: that is the 5 starting salaries of those 4 teams

plan has always been to train 3, keep 2, sell 1... i bought 1 of em real cheap, so by end of year should make a nice profit on him :D

I wouldn't put much weight into DMI, it means pretty much nothing.

i didnt think it was that important, however i think hippo regards it highly.

do you know what it reflects? eg. salary? or skill points in relation to age?

It's heavily influenced by training and game shape.

In the past, proficient game shape DMI was a good indicator on what salary that trainee would have next season ie. 600000 DMI = 60k salary.

Though the salary formula has changed slightly, it's a pretty decent indicator. Also useful towards the end of the season to see how your opponents trainees have come along, as a 25k salary may actually be 50k next season..

So yeah, DMI is rubbish.

Otherwise people should run away from Tau and McArthur when they have proficient GS, 1,500,000 DMI and 1,300,000 DMI lol.
