Okay I put some players on the trade block and I also sent out a few proposed trades so check them out.

By the way, how do "waivers" work?

Players on waivers are available to everyone (not like free agents who can be taken by everyone but it's a case of first in first served).

Basically you put a claim on a player and if no one else claims them you get the player. If more than one player claim him the person with the lower waiver ranking (as in closer to 1) gets the player and their waiver rank is move to the back of the list which in the case of our league would be 10th

Hope that helps.

All because of this...

"However, Yahoo Sports reported that Harden turned down a four-year contract worth about $52 million, and the Thunder moved quickly to trade him after that."

I like the trade for the Rockets but just dont like the fact they had to let Jeremy Lamb go I dont know if this helps Thunder or not?? Surely they could have got something a little more

I don't understand why the Thunder did the trade. The chemistry the three of them had was unbelievable, and now they have Kmart, Lamb and Sefolosha at the SG, I'd assume they'd move Lamb to the backup SF maybe?

However the Rockets, I don't think made a big jump from where they would've been had they not made the trade...

I'm an OKC fan and i didn't want to see Harden go but i actually don't mind this trade too much. If we gave him a max deal (which i don't think he was worth) then we're pretty much stuck for a few seasons. Now we keep our flexibility, still have options and room for a very smart GM in Presti to make more moves and got good return on the trade too.
Kevin Martin is a decent SG and hated it in Houston so will likely see some rejuvenation in OKC. Jeremy Lamb is a rookie and should be a pretty good one from the sounds of things and we got a couple of 1st round draft picks.

Keep in mind KD, Westbrook and Ibaka are all under 24 years old and still improving so we have time for youngsters Lamb and Perry Jones to develop as well and we only (hopefully) took a small step back by swapping Harden for Martin in the short term.

Now if we could give it a season for the rookies Lamb and Perry Jones to develop then swap out Martin/Perkins for someone like Roy Hibbert that will be game over rest of the league.
