Absolutely. The 2 and 3 seeds in my conference are trying to sell most of their team. I shouldn't be 10-0. There's no way a newly promoted team in the NBBA should be where I am.

Sometimes I feel that the only competition worth following is the cup.


Now that I'm in the NBBA, my feelings towards the cup should start changing, but I've succeeded in the past by just not giving a damn about it. I feel like going all out for the cup in D2 and lower just doesn't make sense.

I probably dodged a bullet though, would've got another Div II team away in the cup this week, I dont get lucky in my draws likes!

It's certainly a lot better than if he didn't say anything. Still really sucks that it's allowed in general though. (and rewarded)

btw, i see that next week will be your first cup game vs. a team in the top 1200 USA / top 25,000 world (!!!) lol, perfect draw so far.

This is completely messed up. It's hard to believe what's happening and how badly it impacts the competitive balance of the league.

Well, it really wouldn't be that big a deal if all the tanking teams at least relegated. Like Dirk tanking hardly affects anything. (He's doing it like it was probably envisioned). The problem is that tanking teams are allowed to stay (so there's a bunch of them, no consequences)... while forcing competitive teams to demote. It turns the regular season into a farce.

Forcing all tanking team to relegate at the end of a season would solve the problem i think. Tanking should be a last resort / complete rebuilding project type of move only.
