I've got a list, you've got a list and I'm sure a few others have too. Basically, I'm looking at Gully.

Perfect post. I asked some of these things before in this thread and expressed my opinion on all the others, by agreeing/disagreeing and providing arguments in favor of my stance. The only other who has done this is Vecx. I'd like others to do the same.

Can we get a comprehensive list of all 22-27 year old MVP, or better, English players? Isn't there some tool for that now?
NT Scout Application's (by RSX) original thread:(218184.1)

As Lemon knows, I have a list. He sent it to me.

Just reposted the link to the application, which has been reworked by RSX. You may want to run a fresh query, since I had to collate information from several files when the last version was not yet available (and since I'm far from being infallible I could have missed someone).

we need to manage MVP and HoF players better between ages 22 and 25. Who does this?

we need a group of owners to committed to buying any 22-27yr old MVP or better who come onto the market . Who co-ordinates this?

There's two separate things there. There doesn't seem to be a group of such owners. So its easy to coordinate.

I think you know as well as I do, or you should, that not every trainee becomes available on the market. And many aren't trained to even the age of 21. I can't broker what isn't available.

Somehow I get the sense that people are looking to attach blame here. If thats the case then fine. But that's not going to do us much good a few months from now, or further down the line.

Others in general or me more specifically? You're very hard to understand when you're being ambiguous.

Your general attitude when providing arguments is I'm sure, putting some people off posting. Not me, I might add. You can say what you like to me. I barely have time for this thread because of all the mail I get about how badly this thread is going. Not to mention things I actually have to do away from my laptop.

I'm not interested in blame, I'm interested in recognition of areas of improvement and moving forwards. God, I feel like I'm at work now. Anyway...

What I see is that the 22-25 age group appears not to be actively managed, and want suggestions on who should do this.

The NT Manager?

The U21 Manager?

An assistant to either of the above, call them the U25 co-ordinator or something?

---

Point two - all this really requires is for interested managers to make themselves known to whoever is going to be the broker, and drawing attention to any players on the market via a forum. If the u25 co-ordinator is actively managing relationships with the managers of these players, that helps.

I think the broker pretty much has to be the NT manager, for reasons of credibility with potential vendors. Other views welcome.

--

Point three - I think we're wisely all still on a break from discussing this any further.

You mainly, since you're also the NT manager. Your intervention in this discussion has been chiefly directed to chastise people or bring up something completely unrelated to the way forward.

You clearly have a different opinion of how this thread should be going and what we should be discussing, but what exactly is it? You seem to be able to say only what it should not be like, what people are doing wrong, who they are blaming. I'm honestly interested to know what your opinion is.

I will never jump at anyone who arguments his opinions better than: "it's like this because I say so" or "it's like this because I do it" or "who are you to speak to me". This does not help anyone and, sorry, it is also not exactly credible if there are threads with plenty of top managers from other nations saying otherwise or if numbers support alternative views.

Regarding my general attitude and your finger pointing, I will just say that anybody can read what both me and Vecx have written and I don't believe sarcasm and smug authority, as you called it, has been coming on one side only. I have dropped that despite an additional dose of it this morning.

I promise you I will abstain to post here any further, other than thanking JoeMaverick for taking the time to draft a reply. I'm genuinely curious to see the direction the discussion will take and how many of the people complaining to you by mail will feel like participating to the discussion.

Since you think you're completely blameless for derailing the thread, I'm simply not going to respond to you any more.

Edited because frankly I don't want a reply.
