Training my 3 PGs at C has been slow & they have only had about 3-4 pops each.


Just wondering what skills Hippo was training at C for his PG's.

All of them. Best so far is Inside Def.: prominent or Rebounding: proficient but I confess each of the 3 of them has a weakness. It was a good week this week with 5 pops total :)

Biggest game of the season tonight.

training guards in big skills is a slow, boring process, but pays off BIG dividends at the end of the journey..

there are 2 schools of thought on training smalls in big skills

1) do it in their first season or 2, as they develop quicker because of their age.

2) train small skills first, and rely on elastic band effect to get pops!

Another option, could be to play your guards at SF/PF and train 1 on 1... not sure how effective it is for smalls, but have heard that training program is good for all around skills!

LOL, did Bainsy forget to set a lineup tonight? Was going to say that you're in a situation where Hippos were last season. Congrats you made it out this time. Oh man looks like next season the III.12 forum is gonna be quiet :P

Nah it definitely wont be quiet here in 3.12. this place is like a home!

if i manage to snag the bot promotion, i will be here! this is a great league with great guys and i really wanna see guys like hippo, tilley, noidya, shp and you get through!

I dont appreciate the connations matty! Bainsy had a massive week this week and simply forgot! put it down to excitement, put it down to old age, but RL got in the way and he didnt have the time!
