game summary copied from singapore forum

Royce Radcliffe wild three pointer on last three seconds edged Singapore 77-75.

A blowout loss might still normal, but a heartbreak lost is always hard to swallow.

Leading comfortably 72-63 with 3 minutes left on final quarter, the Australian guards has come to work. Amitabha Aslam and Royce Radcliffe led a crazy rally to get Aussie past by Singapore 74-73 with 31 seconds left. After a quick jumpshot by Syamsuri to resume 75-74 the lead, Australia seemed on their edge as the clock is ticking into last three seconds, until Radcliffe 30-footer is swished deep enough to make Singapore players hung up their head. Amitabha Aslam then steal the ball on Singapore inbound pass and then the Kangoroos were jumping into the air, celebrating the wild victory.

Australian were led by Aslam with 24 points and Radcliffe is second with 19 points.

Li Jin Yew showed his best performance, scored 19pts 16rebs 4asts and 2blks. Mohd Syamsuri bin Ahmad has 18pts and Yip Su Yeng has 14pts and 12rebs. Singapore were dominating the board 56-44, but making 18 turnovers, comparing to Australia 8.

With the lone loss, Singapore finished the 2nd position on the tournament standing, and will be facing a possible first 2nd round opponent : China U21.
