Thanks guys for the testing. Looks like that last change was too much. I guess we need to fall back to what was working and implement that. Hopefully, it will work well in league matches too.

We still have one final private league match to test before the next season, however, I'll implement the new code from now on, so scrimmages will run with it too, which means that managers that would like that, can test even on scrimmages. Good luck with your drafts!

As the head of the team I wish there was an option where I can set the exact number of min a player plays. if I want my c to play 25 sg 40 and so on. if they foul out then my back up plays the rest obviously.

If you're making significant changes to the blank line up, it would be nice to let us know about it before the first scrimmages!

I just find it outrageous that they announce changes and yet don't describe what changes before the actual games... It screws my preparation.

No need to be outraged lol, it should be explained in more detail when they announce the season news post?

If the announcement comes after my first scrimmage tomorrow, I will already have wasted my first and only test before the season kicks. Hence the outrage. grrr!

Ok guys, after playing few games with this new engine i have to say this prevention thing is something that doesnt work properly OR new option in substitution pattern is NEEDED. I highly appreciate Marins effort in game changes and way he handles it. With this thread i want to show were the balance was lost, according to me:
Current system totally ruined game strategies, homegrown players idea itself, merchendise revenues etc. NTs now playing games with 8-9 players, it is ridiculous. It is far from reality that 3-5 NT players play 40 minute games. Why do we need 18 players rosters for NT when 9 players per game are needed.
What about merch revenues when we lost 25% of players involved in game? Are we gonna raise merch revenues so the economy stays balanced? 25% players in NT rosters lost job. That means less interes in NTs becose less players are involved and less players are compensated. Managers dont get paid their merch money so often and lose money so they wont be willing to train NT prospects and follow NTs. Lost interes is first step which can totaly erase NT idea.
What is my biggest concern about this is game impact. Now i have no option to pick subs strategy i want. I lost the option to play with more players. It is common strategy in real basket that with higher pace you alternate more players. With slower pace you dont need that becose you lose stamina less. In BB with higher pace you lose stamina more but substitution doesnt change so faster tactics in game are bad decision.
At least change in fast paced tactics is needed in terms of substitution i think.
Thanks
