I bought him at the start of last season and he didn't have any skill drops until last week when he dropped two levels in OD, and he dropped two levels in passing this week (this is with a career extension trainer). I've had a bunch of old guards with good outside defense and each one has gotten their first and only drops in OD with a Two Level Drop, so it can't Just be that old players' skills are all slowly deteriorating but that there are Triggers which make their skill declination kind of herky-jerky if that makes any sense, instead of just a smooth decline

That's interesting, one of my players hadn't had any skills drops, had a two level drop in OD, then went over a season without having another drop

Interesting, I wonder what the triggers could be.

Others seem to be indicating OD is often dropped on guards. For my 35 year old big, it was 1 IS drop and 2 RB drops this season, although he did drop in IS once last season.

So possibly it's OD and PA are more likely to drop for guards, and IS and RB for bigs? Very small sample size though, so it could still be completely random. Just when the "trigger" happens, one or two skills get hit hard.

presumably the drop is a %, so you're more likely to see a down pop on a high skill.

Round 1 - Visionaries
Round 2 - King Drive Ballers
Round 3 - N/A
Round 4 - Burlington Mountain Goats
Round 5 - Bullish Mentality
Round 6 - (Tie) Quakers, Bullish
Round 7 - Visionaries
Round 8 - Quakers
Round 9 - (Tie) Silverbacks, Bruins

13 D2 teams remain. Assuming the favorites all win, this is the potential break down of teams for the round of 16.

7 NBBA, 7 D2, 2 D3.

Much to the chagrin of D2 representatives, we've reached the point in the cup where D2 is now a favorable draw. So it is still possible for all of the remaining NBBA teams to get lucky and avoid crappy draws with each other. Or we could almost all get screwed and only one of us gets a nice draw.

this was the case for my guards but I bought the following 37 year old center at the beginning of last season and he hasn't dropped in inside shot yet, while dropping in a bunch of other skills: (http://i.imgur.com/SDp38.png)

Eh, fuck Goodell. Dude will have to deal with one pissed off manager if I lose the Cup game on Thursday. Already cost me 2 games, don't want to make it 3 in a row.
