That's true. But when considering a 23 year old trainee, you must take into account his potential. Øra should be close to capping (if not capped already), while Abildgaard, by my estimation, can add up to 25-30 skill points.
General discussion
Jørgen Abildgaard is one of the eight most talented 22-24 year old Norwegian guards at the moment (the others being: Svend Slyngborg, Yngve Kleven, Ole Linnerud, Martin Pettersson, Tore Tang Ellefsen, Olav Stranda and Stian Hokstad). All of them should attract the attention of guard trainers in BB Norge (this refers to the ones that are not owned by Norwegian team at the moment).
Brief info: Most likely, Yngve Kleven will be transfer listed next season - will be 24 years old then.
Top level NT's are traditionally the ones belonging to the biggest BB communities. That's OK with me. For a community of a size of BB Norge to be competitive and consistently ranked as high as we are at the moment (World Rank 26, Europe Rank 10) and possibly improve its ranking, it must secure and improve its talent (9+ potential players).
Organized structure is also very important. I'm working without scouts these past two seasons, but my wish is to at least have some managers in my staff. I expect these managers to have an ambition to coach the NT in future. I have excellent communication with some managers and I'm grateful of their help and support. The door is open to anyone willing to be a scout to the NT. It would be beneficial not only for this cycle when I'm in charge, but also for a long-term stability of the NT, because the next NT coach should have the minimum understanding of how NT competition work and in-depth knowledge of the player data-base. This is possible with team-work.
