Well, It's not the first time that I see sbody telling that Discord is a better place.

So, why do THIS forum still exists ?

(I don't go to discord, I discuss where the game is ;) )

that's another good point.. for me it's a nonsense to push user to use something outside the website.. but we were discussing how to find answers, not if that place is good or not.

I personally use discord to chat with many other users, for sure is much quicker and funny than a old school forum, and btw I'm from the old school..

It looks like communication is back to old times when Marin was in charge alone. We didn't miss it. Please bring us Justin back !

I think there's an efficient discord server where they answer to any question much quicker than here..

but for the asocial users like me, the news are inaccessibles.

you could also register to discord and not chat with anybody but only read news and find information..

And, as I said to the other guy, I'm not telling that it is right.. I'm telling you the way it is.

Discord cannot replace the in-game forum. As much as it is easier for owners on discord, there is no game there and it is not the main channel. The main channel of information should be on the game page on the forum or on notifications. It is not clear to me that someone puts discord before the game itself and the forum

I don't think that is a fair statement. While I do use the app more often than the website to check scores / set lineups, you still have to come to the site at least once per week because of missing functionalities from the app (like setting scrimmages, checking fan surveys, checking news and so on).

So I'd say that the app is a long way to go to have full functionalities to make it a replacement for the website. I still think the vast majority of users uses the website at least once every few weeks.

And communication regarding new features and plans could be made on the News page. If you want to keep and grow the user base you have to get the users excited of what the growth plans are. As it is right now, for me it seems like even though management changed the game is still on life support, with no plans on changing that.

I spend much more time on site and i think nothing can replace it nor the forum. Its much easier to set up a line up on desktop site when you are not sure about the how many minutes do your players have and i hope we will soon move to a forum that dates from this millenium

It has been 6 months since the new owners took over. The two announcements were at the beginning of season 66 and now at the beginning of season 67 there is still no news except that the buzzerbeater code is still being worked on. I wonder how many people are working on the game? When will the code be ready or anything concrete that we will hear?

yeah, really worst decision they could make to not give any information "until possible".

BB has thousands of players that are so devoted to the game they stayed even if the game is so old. but they choose to ignore their most important stakeholders and just code in the blind.

that's such a bad decision that makes me wonder if there is a product manager involved or we are talking only of few coders that do this in their spare time, as before. just closing the curtains and working in the dark on a product it's perfect recipe for failure. disappointing.

it's crazy really because there is money to be made from this.

Wait, are you trying to be funny? I don't see that you have anything to do with the new owners, so I don't know why you are answering my question. Take care of yourself and if you don't have anything smart to write, it's better not to write.
