I trained wingmen in JS and got two pops- driving from respectable to strong and jump shot fromrespectable to strong. Both on the same player. A little disappointing as it is the 4th week I have been training my sf in jump shot.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Remember, this isn't a "hey, this is how my training went" thread, this is an information-gathering exercise.

If you're going to post your pops, please have some relevant information useful to the thread. Not doing so is little more than clutter to the point at hand.

Yes, please. "Relevant information" being training type, positions being trained, trainer level, players who popped (age/nationality is plenty here) and in what skills they increased. It would also be particularly helpful if posters included the length of time since the last pop, if that information is available.

understood..

but to be fair with to many of the training options training in some cases 3 secondaries as soon as you vary your routine it is going to be near on impossible to tell..

its not like hattrick where x weeks + age + trainer skill = pop in y weeks..

we are all getting pops that are built up of sub levels + fractions....i think if you look back over a season and say I bought player x and he had a total of 65 points (1=atroc - 8=strong etc) and after 4 stamina 3 FT and 7 skill training weeks he now has 75 points then you can gain an understanding as to what sort of player you can shape from lets say age 18-22 or 20-23 depending on your situation.

i think people are just pleased (i am) that pops on younger players are happening more frequently now... as to how and why I think there is a long way to go...

indeed.

however it might be resourcefull to know in which area's pops occur with a given training, I feel it would be best if the amount of posts limits itself to managers who trained the same thing for at least 5 weeks.

The first pop of a player is prety useless info, since you don't know at what level he started.

If managers had a pop for a player, and then kept training him and got a second pop, noly then might we get some usefull info on how long that specific training takes.
To get a good look at secondary skill training it might take a season, or even 2 to get some usefull info...
I didn't post any info yet, just because I didn't train the same thing long enough already.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I see where you're coming from, yet the point of this thread entitled "Training Speed Analysis" is to analyze training speeds. The only way we can learn anything via this thread is by testing and posting our results. As you mentioned HT, the only way anyone knew how training worked over there was because people tested by training the same skill every week and shared their results with the community. Since there is still plenty of information regarding training in BB that is yet unknown, this is the perfect place for those of us curious enough to test it to post our results.

I've still yet to understand how BB defines "younger players", as my results training rebounding for 5 weeks (with a week of stamina during the week of the ASG) on players aged 19, 20, 23, and 24 have shown little (if any) signs of variance due to age. In fact, my 20yo popped a week before my 19yo, but all that suggests is a slightly higher sub-level after the previous pop. If my 24yo pops next week, it will suggest that training has yet to slow down by a notable amount at that age.

I didn't start this thread, so it's kinda up to WFU03 to decide what type of content he would rather see here. However, if I had my druthers, most of the posts here would be attempting to analyze training speeds for each training type, and including any secondaries a given training type also trains that may have been missed up to this point.

I understand people wanting to post their training pops somewhere, as that part of the game, for me, provides the most off-court excitement (I love seeing tiny green arrows). But perhaps that sort of thing could go elsewhere. In the BB-USA forum, JuicePats has blessed us with a training sticky thread in which to do so; perhaps there are other countries who need something like that as well (or even a thread in global). That would keep this thread more on-topic, and we could gather much more pertinent data.
