if you have your team from the start of the season, and pay no money at all, I'd guess you won't get any info.

If you received your team during the season, you will get some info, because BB doesn't want you to receive nearly no info due to the fact you just arrived.
Last season I entered at PO-time, so I had no possibility to scout, still I received some valuable info.

scouting 18 and seeing 5 x 5* is a very good result, unless you see no 4stars!

I scouted 36, and only see 3 x 5*. I see a decent amount of 4 stars , so I think I will be able to get 1 or 2 of those 4 stars, would have liked one 5 star and 2 'suckers' better though. We can't have it all.

your final question was already answered, as usual correctly, by Juicepats

This is the same for placing unknown before 3 or 2*:
If you already scouted a lot of 3 and 2* players I would for sure put at least some unscouted players in front of them.

I would choose this option anyways:
The chance that you get one 4 or 5* player is pretty large so why not take a gamble on the others? I don't think a lousy trainee is going to help me...

I don't realy like sharing my theory about draft order, but I'm 100% with Juicepats.

Because I don't like sharing the theory, I won't tell you, but that is not so important. The important part is that I will share with you how I order them, and that is by telling you that I order them the same way as Juicepats.

If you know how Juicepaths orders his draft, and you know I do it the same way, and you know we do this for a reason, you don't realy need the explanation why now do you? ;)

If you don't know how he orders them, you will have to search the forum. ;þ

Anyone know what percentage of players there are in each star category?

It doesn't look like 20% each.

I have 17% 5-stars, 17% 4-star, 33% 3-star, 29% 2-star and 4% 1-star.

Last season, I had 26% 5-stars, 17% 4-star, 39% 3-star, 13% 2-star and 4% 1-star.

Seems like there aren't many 1-star players in the draft. Anybody else observe similar distributions?

I think it is a rondom distribution, so pure theoretically one can expect 20% of each. But since this is only theory, it will seldom be this way. But it will often come close.
Of course then there is the fact you don't see then all, so it's normal that the % of the players you see varies much from draft to draft.

and I know what BB-Domenico is going to respond to this post ;þ
(oh realy?)
Maybe I should have underlined the word think in my first sentence. ;)
