Welcome to my world. I think this is the Season of Strange Results.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Yeah I looked at your boxscore and cringed. As a division, we got smoked in the Cup last night. And funny enough I drew Slow Children in the next round who was in this division last season. Keep getting all these d.III teams, wish I could get an easy opponent sometime soon.

I drew a road game against ATL. That will be fun. The bottom feeders of II.I battling for national prominence! But it means there will for sure be at least one less team from our league advancing past the next round.

I went with a lean lineup for training purposes and it backfired. Nothing like having your main C foul out after 25 minutes, an atrocious ID guard as your center until he fouls out, subbed by another atrocious ID guard and Lucky Fan.

I had been counting on that $50k for a while to keep me in the black - so time to dump some inside salary and depth...

If you need to dump salary in a hurry, I strongly recommend that you fire all of your highest salaries right away, preferably before your next game tomorrow night! I think you'll win that game putting all your worst players in the starting lineup anyway, which I think you should try doing. Try playing them out of position, it makes the game more fun. And you should TIE while you're at it.

I can't fire the guys on the TL, but the rest of them have been put on notice.
Done.

you have some really nice well-balanced players. Idea! I think I have come upon the only way to beat you in our game (right after NY Chunks): I will buy your players myself and fire them.

Now if I only had 100,000 cup games against bots in between now and then...

An evil rocket scientist, I like it!

With this market, I doubt any of them will sell. I have all my cash invested in the young guys anyway and I doubt I could sell them for what I paid at the beginning...

Still, would be nice to have a positive bank balance to start the week...

Mateu is pretty awesome. Odd build but I like it. If only he had any rebounding or better OD, I'd definitely pay $2.5 mil for him. I bet someone will bite at around that price. I'll be interested to see if the other two guys sell. Fairly high prices for ancient players.

Yeah Mateu is an odd duck with his scoring ability. His problem is his rebounding and OD to a certain extent as you mentioned.
Still, he creates a matchup problem at most positions.

Both the other guys are ancient, but Allineri has tremendous experience and is a solid scorer. Hugo is actually a solid SF - he made the all-star game there last year...
