But the next question will be how you can afford to maintain a $800K player and $100K trainer.
I never experience or saw any team with 700k++ player before, but I think it'll work by having only the 800k to occupy 90+% for the player salary and the rest of 10-% for few player to enable the team to participate in a game.

Not only that, I notice that a team with a good draft player tend to have high attendance revenue and merchandise, and I also notice that the merchandise will continue to grow if there is an increase in draft growth<assumption from the result made by my team in the few previous weeks(I gave monorole training to 3 of my draftee every week, and every week, there is an increment in merchandise(around 1k/week)), and in addition, if the draft is in the NT, the merchandise will increase as well, I think thats probably enough to cover the cost(including trainer bidding cost).

Just an inexperience presumption since I never really experience it myself.

part of the merchandising comes from

1) your own draft player
2) if he is an NT he gets a percentage of his salary towrrds the draft
3) if your NT is strong... then your merchandising goes up too

Just wanted to make sure you cover all angles of your strategy. As long as you are aware of the financial implications to your team with this strategy then I am sure you should do well.

In fact you don't even need to target $800K. If you can train up two players with $400K salary or three players with $250K I am sure AhMoi will be very happy already.

You probably need help from the NT Managers to get a high potential local player next season since your current trainee only has highest potential of perennial allstar.

Wow thanks for helping me in making my strategy much more towards flawless.

I don't how high the salary can go, so I'll just give the player the best possible training until his age is really causing his growth to have a drop in other skills more than the increment.

It'll cost more if I buy from TL, I plan to work with my draft from coming season, if I can't get an ATG for 5 consecutive season, then I'll just consider to work with the highest potential which I have, I think I'll at least get an MVP because I'm planning to spend 20k for scout and theres a lot of team with great player in my division which gave me an advantage at draft preference.

PS: Thank you.

Piece of advice: Plan your training properly, in order to get the most out of a player's potential with minimum salary impact per season, so that you can still manage to maintain your league posistion financially and still able to give maximum training to the youngster.

Don't need to push a draftee's salary to sky-high figure before he even reaches 21yo, if you would struggle financially to keep him in your squad. Always remember that the best players do not necessarily earn the highest of salaries (at least in BB world, that is). Instead, try your best to build a player with balanced skill sets in his tender age, in order to "cheat" the BB salary calculator, because only a few of the main skills per Preferred Role are used in calculating the players' salary. So, if you train JS/JR/OD/IS (in rotation) with your SG, for example, the salary impact next season would be significantly lower than if you train JS/JR fanatically the whole season. If you continue to do this every season, you would only need to pay a fraction of his max salary per season until he matures. Only when a player's age reaches 21/22, and if his potential and salary indicator still permits, then focus directly on his main skills to shoot him up to the sky. When finally his potential cap has touched base, you would have an all-round SG.

If you pushed a player's main skills too early on, let's say HND/DRV/PAS of a PG until legendary with lousy JS/JR/OD, before he reaches 21yo, no doubt, he will become the superstar player in U21 squad. However, when he is 22 and since his main skills had been trained to the max (and his salary will be kept at the max also), he simply slow down dramatically in training due to the salary cap. Therefore, you will be left with a very good ball handler and passer, but lousy shooter from the outside. From my NT standpoint, this simply is not acceptable for a PG.

Just my opinion.

Cheers.

PS: And FYI, I'm quite happy with my current NT squad, although we are not ready yet to rub shoulders with elite teams.
