There is an awful amount of proficient sarcasm flying around this respectable thread. It's atrocious. (Have we covered them all yet? I think we missed one or two...how pitiful)

That was just plain atrocious... and yes i agree there is a Colossal amount of sarcasm in this marvelous thread which i find very Inept and wondrous. my team is on a tremendous winning streak and lost a cup match to a sensational team which is just plain mediocre my trainee played strong but JEP[player=Jordi Elo Parrado] played fairly awful since his Gameshape was Average. the other teams star player[player= highest salary guy] was legendary which made me feel pitiful but our rebounding was proficient and our outside scoring was Prolific too bad the other team had such a prominent rebounder/shot blocker p.s TSA jr=Tommy saint-amand
I think i covered all of them and if i have not then that is just plain Awful

Investing in the stadium is cruicial but is not that important early on in the game.

Thats the first thing a manager should do - I sold out 18.000 seats in DIV III, that gave me a huge advantage when I finally moved up.

With a new team he wont be able to compete in DIV III anyway, so it is better to get in a position where you can stockpile money for a season and wait for a good moment (usually the offseason is the best time) to purchase players to get a competitive team for the next season.
