Yeah, that's a big relief. Still the 5k/10k is better value if your aim is to save points. Most seasons a late draft list won't matter the least. But in a few(very few) it just makes the draft more expensive than it would have to be.

It wasn't long ago when that was the only way to do it. So it's clearly doable.

If I was dead last however, I would for sure go for 20k/week until the allstar break. Do a scouting combine to weed out the 19y olds. And go down to 5k or 10k as soon as i found a real good 18 old. Which could be right away. As long as the list is out during this week it wouldn't effect that scenario. But I don't see any benifit from denying the option of tinkering with the list as soon as possible.

but is it still more economic then locking for it with 40k.

And there might be a 5/3 player worth enough to don't make him loose money, and don't forget he even have decent chanches to get a high second pick.

Drafts are up! From scouting combined, saw plenty of 18 year olds on the 2 and 1 ball list. Went group demonstration, got five ball talents, four of them were 18 year olds. Turns out the one with best potential (4) is a 6'3" PG. Damn and I'm training insides next year. I'll work on the top half of my draft before season ends.

It's so good having finally getting the list!

The listed position on a player is just a function of his current skills. Being listed as a SF probably means that he has decent jump shot and rebounding skills. You can definitely play him at C or PF, and with his height you'll want to train his inside skills up anyway (and that requires playing him at C for single position training, or PF for two position)

Players like that can actually turn out great. He might already have some nice guard skills which would make it easier to create a PF.
