haha it's coming back to me, this is the time where I half tanked! where were my two 50k Guards! I erased this from my memory because it wasn't a real match. lol.

Koops that is the scenario I fear.

With a "Declared tanker" in the other conference teams like Fatboy can literally semi tank and concentrate on saving money and focusing on training.

I dont want HA to have to fight for survival all season and lose site of a training plan and the bigger picture.

Bigger picture is season 20 and if I can focus on training for the next two seasons I believe HA is only a bit of depth and a couple "inclusions" away from being a serious ABBL team.

This is why Yoda should do the honerable thing and renounce any delusions of staying in the ABBL next season and instead play sensible and try to out tank Iwens mob

Is Yoda "Tanking" a tank or is it the start of a fair dinkum tank which will balance up the two conferences.

He has some derilict players up for sale but has them listed above what any self respecting Manager should pay for them.

Have a feeling that the gulls will try and swoop on HAs first round picnic in the park.

So many experienced Managers and so few tankers, it could be a very interesting season.

Can we get a second poll going as to who will win the ABBL championship this season

In all seriousness you could have 4 calculated education predictions as to who will be champion.

White beard, WA is a Dump and BLS would rank high but how could a team like Pancakes be discounted as they have done it before and most probably have a bank roll to spend.

Wombats, Bogans and BHB are other possible contenders and what are the intentions of the Supercats, Monkeys and Koops?

Given the history of the last few season perhaps a third poll should be set up as well as to which team will be first to go bot this season.

A word of reality to my fellow div 2 promotees, the ABBL can be a very inhospitable place to be

I think he actually did. However I think Zazz and Pancakes will both be far out of the running for anything big this season so that makes at least seven teams that will not even be thinking about the championship this season. Others like BHB, Koop and the Bogans will already know if they are aiming to join the really big boys and challenge BLS, WA and WB, or if they are just content to make up the numbers in the playoffs.

Funny that Sid says my prices are above what any decent manager would pay when in each case I paid more for the players myself and every sale if it goes through at the listed proce will give me a loss.

what are the intentions of the Supercats, Monkeys and Koops?

can't you tell by the re-purchase of Sepehr Asghari (4861114)? and the two German cruise missiles that I've added to my arsenal? I think the intent is there... Koops are ready for war.

Park Bell Supercats has the top 3 highest salaries in the ABBL atm and will always be a wildcard to take to out the title as long as Irwin Velasco is still on his team. All he needs is a starting PG and he will take the championship imo.

Monkeybiz is safe and he is content with taking 4th or 5th place for now.

Now the big questions are, what are the intentions of the new promotees, HA, Yoda and Hadders since no one is tanking in the Great 8?

Thats the goal. Arena remains my main priority this season and I just want to be out of the relegation race. Although with the tough big 8 conference, it will still be a challenge

Long term plan for HA is to be a force in the ABBL in season 20.

The "to be made public" objectives for this season are;

1/ To further train as planned the 3 players that I have earmarked for further development

2/ To not get relegated (if it doesnt interfere with objective 1)

3/ Save 2 miilion dollars (if it doesnt interfere with Objectives 1 & 2)

you may have to face Zazzo or monkey in your relegation if you dont get 6th...

For a team which is new to the ABBL, staying up may require a season long fight, the sacrifice of training plans and the procurement of overpriced beasts.

Achieving all 3 goals (that were made public) for this season would be an achievement to be celebrated as it would lay the foundations for a competive and sustainable HA squad for many seasons to come

The lesson in Reality will be yours Split J, if your team one day does manage to promote
