Yeah, pretty suspicious circumstances. Would be a kamikaze, too.

Sigh, now I don't know if I'll continue with my plans to demote or not. Cup is wide open now... then again, it's not really worth it. Hm.

Ahh, I didn't realize that he bought those 3 players yesterday.

Still even if he sells them he'll have to pay those salaries for a week, pay the tax to sell them and he won't necessarily sell them for the same price.

As Rip said, that was one very expensive way to win a single Cup game. Probably end up costing him at least $800,000 if not more for that game.

I had about 1.3 mil in the bank and I was looking for a good SF but couldn't find any so I decided might as well try and make the cup game a good game so I bought the three guys. I plan to sell them right away and I should have enough money left over to win my weak league (I was 2 points away from promoting last season).

Fair enough but then your arena is still way too small for D2 so that money you just spent could have bought you some very extensive upgrades. Just saying.

My arena is quite small, but if I can get a good price for my guys then I should still be able to buy some good upgrades for my arena.
