Just going by country/world ranks or salaries, that was an upset. Both of us played normal, but I had an edge in tactics, gameshape, and more enthusiasm built up. Is that what you are looking for?

Second in the Great 8 Razorbacks smashed on the road by eighth place from the other side, the Muffin Men, in what should have been a Saturday Snoozefest.

This game is a classic case of underestimating an opponent. Started second stringers at several positions, and was punished severely for it. Tipton is a draftee, while Liting, Reiter, and Guedes aren't that far behind the starters skill wise, but enough to let this happen.

Muffin Men went on to finish that season 9-13. The team has never been higher than 4th place in their conference at the Division IV level.

If a team has HCA, better top 3 DMI, stronger depth, more effort, more stored Enth and the best tactics to attack the others weaknesses and hide his own, the lesser team has no chance and I doubt any team has overcome all that. Any team that can get 3 of those categories on its side has a chance and is seen as a good manager working with what he has and not really an upset.

All 8 of my wins in season 11 I consider upsets. I wasn't better than any of those teams but I put focus on those I thought I could win because I needed to.

In season 15 I started the cup with a ranking of 251 and put out 198, 93, 240, and 26, but again I managed my resources into those games.

His team that took the court (750k) was roughly 7 times mine (105k from memory).
Both same enthusiasm, i used alternate tactics to see how theyd go. Would love to see the game replayed with different tactics to see how it changed the outcome!

Wowsers, just saw that, it's pretty darn impressive/strange. Thanks again to Muse for training! (and all other English managers!)
