That's right, I missed your post, mea culpa. It seems I wasn't the only one.

As for my reaction, it was solely based on the fact that Kirltom posted a candidature in Pakistan the day before and as GM I see numerous people posting candidatures in several countries each season and I find that quite funny the fact they don't know beforehand where they want to land.

I said several times after that if the Japan managers want Kirltom as NT coach, it's up to them and I have no say in it, but I keep my rights to post in this debate or other thread over here.

Err... "wasn't the only one"? Weren't you the only one making commentary about 'Japanese managers reacting'?

And absolutely, you are welcome to post in this debate (well... 'free to'. 'Welcome' might be stretching the reality of it). But wouldn't there be a more appropriate way for you to raise concerns about a manager? Between two GMs commenting - it was pretty antagonistic - something you've castigated me in the past for.

And guys (Nik0/Perpete) - you simply can't divorce yourself from being a GM. You are, and despite what you might say, you're always *taken* as GMs.

No worries. I just thought it was strange for him to start his Election Speech with " Wolph talked me into running......"

I am not saying it will cost him votes because people in Japan LOVE YOU!!!(Hahahahaha)

It reminds of the time when Sharman talked BJ Samurai into running.....That was very bad.

Hey...I like the fact that there are two GMs in here posting. It shows they care about Nippon.
And the concerns they bring up are real concerns. Why does he(Aussie dude) think he can come in here and poach the job? Was Pakistan too small for him? This guy might be a decent manager and if he gets the job...Good!. My problem was his entrance into the election.
I still have my vote on Swoosh with the hope he wakes up and can find a scrimmage when we need one.

I have no issue with the GMs posting... and it is good that they raise whatever concerns they have. I do think they could take a lil' care in not trashing the guy.

As I said earlier: I'm torn. If Swoosh says he's all in, then he has my vote. If not... it could go either way for me.

I appreciate the support shown by various teams in the Nippon community. It's clear that while this nation is small, it does at its heart have a group of active educated managers who enjoy the game and are interested in seeing the NT progress further.

There's a saying here in Aus, "have a crack at it". I'm more than happy to having a crack at the NT job. That's not to say it'll be a half assed attempt, quite the contrary, I'm always a person who goes 100% in and would do whatever it took to improve the team. The GMs are right in saying I was signed up for Pakistan before Wolph asked me to run here. I made the decision to run here instead because it seemed the current manager is not so active, as is evident in this thread.

GMs too have the nations interests at heart im sure, however courtesy and some common sense eludes them at the moment. I'm not trying to reignite the flames but yeah ild appreciate they asked what ild do rather than being told what I won't.

Anyhow, a bit more about me. I like to think of myself as a good chess player who doesn't play chess Thinking moves ahead and making the most appropriate decisions for the short and longer term.

Further, My personal team is at the moment in a clear building phase so this allows me the advantage of spending more time on the NT team and prospects. Being international also gives me the advantage of not favouring teams or players, it's all bout the stats and results

No offense to anyone, but there are just too many headaches that come with the NT team.

I tried to bring in a new generation of guys and i feel i did that successfully.

Best of luck to the next coach.
