Eto na yung pairings natin for the First Round

Pair #1 Team Polydozel vs. PBA ALL-STARS
Pair #2 JUBAS BEASTS vs. QUEENS COST
Pair #3 Ateneo Jologs vs. RED ROBINS
Pair#4 TGIF MANILA vs. PILIPINAS NATIONALS

For the Second Round it would be:

Winner's bracket:

Winner of #1 vs. Winner of #4
Winner of #2 vs. Winner of #3

Consolation bracket:

Loser of #1 vs. Loser of #4
Loser of #2 vs. Loser of #3


The last 2 surviving teams goes to a single game championship for the JOSE RIZAL CUP.

Looking at the this format, tapos ang CUP in 3 week's time so it doesn't run against any Buzzerbeater official games except maybe the playoffs.

So, the first game would start on Thursday next week. Please make sure that you would be sending the invites to the team that is paired against you.

paki remind lang dito sa forums yung scrimmages and yung mga matchups para talagang wal nang magreklamo na kesho d sinabihan, and all that jazz... let's make this cup a very successful one par sa next time madami nang participants kasi maaaliw sila kung gaano ka-organized (so far) nung pamamahala nung Cup.

oo nga noh... di na indicate ung ruling ng home court advantage... pero most likely baka ganun n nga...Ü ...need confirmation on this matter.

yung teams na mas mataas ang rankings ang home teams.....just like the old ways...

syangapala, I am in the middle of negotiations with at least 2 US NBBA Division teams kasi plano ko to organize another scrimmage-based invitational after this CUP...by invitation lang....target is 6 local teams and 2 top-caliber foreign teams pero kung makakakuha ng 6 din na topnotch foreign clubs mas maganda....

to Jubas, pwede bang maki-scrimmage ang NT natin sa mga regular clubs? kasi kung pwede, invite ko sana ang NT natin para sa invitationals....magandang exposure yun sa NT para mahasa ng husto...

what do you think guys?

okay yan dude...kaso next season na yan pwede, after philippine cup...after mga three weeks tapos na ang current season e...regarding naman sa NT scrimmage, NT to NT lang ang pwede mag-scrimmage...

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...tapos wala na...

most probably next season na nga ito pero at least, mas maaga ang pagplano para mas masaya =)

I would try to talk at least 6 foreign teams...isa pa lang nagkoconfirm ng interes sa liga natin na scrimmage-based...kaso inaaalam niya yung kalibre ng mga team na lalaro para daw ma-develop din team niya....yung nagconfirm is yung nth_mlb_giants ng US NBBA League...siya ang #1 sa Great 8 conference with a record of 16 W 6 L at kasalukuyang lumalaban sa conference semis....

may isa pa akong ninenegotiate sa US NBBA League then namimili pa ako ng 2 europeans teams saka 2 asian teams...

para sa local teams, ang suggestion ko sana ay yung Philippine CUP Titlist, tapos yung Champion ng previous season ng Division 1.1, 2.1, 3.1, Champion ng JOSE RIZAL CUP saka isang wildcard...parang battle of the champions...hehehehe

ano sa palagay ninyo mga ka-berks?

wag na muna natin madaliin yung international Jose Rizal Cup.. specifically sa US kasi kakainin ng buhay yung teams ng pilipinas don.. kung hindi ako nagkakamali, may headstart ng 3 seasons ang US sa Pilipinas. kung yung players natin nasa prominent-prolific,(correct me if im wrong nalang, may mga kilala akong mono skilled players nasa prolific dito sa pinas pero wala pa ako kilala na nasa sensational) yung sa US nasa sensational-wonderous

kung gusto niyo international, i suggest countries na kasabay ng philippines sa BB para hindi naman one-sided games na sure win ang US

eto tingin ko lang ha...tutal next season pa naman yung plano na iyan kung matutuloy nga kasi mukhang masyadong malupit yang liga na iyan, ok naman siguro kahit may US team na kasali....

at least masusukat natin kung gaano na ang improvements ng team natin...scrimmages lang naman yung level ng games so yung intensity niyan is at the most 3 so sa skills na lang ng players magkakatalo...palagay ko naman mai-improve natin players natin kasi active tayo kahit na off-season....tapos may half of next season pa tayo bago magumpisa iyang invitationals na iyan, again kung matutuloy nga kasi tingin ko ang hirap i-assemble nung foreign teams na magko-compete dyan...

pwede siguro makipag usap sa isang manager from other country tapos siya ang mag organize ng tournament.. or mas madali rin kung mag post sa forum nung country na yon inviting foreign managers to compete in a scrimmage based tournament

may pangalawa na tayong foreign team na nag-confirm ng participation for this invitationals....yung LANUS team ng Argentina Division 1.1...itong team na ito ang #1 team sa Great 8 conference ng Div 1.1 with a 20 W 2L slate....

hintay pa tayo ng iba pang magko-confirm...nagiging interesting itong liga na ito....hehehehe

masyadong mahihirap na kalaban yan... not that i'm complaining... pero sa tingin ko walang makukuha sa pag laban sa mga teams na 2 lvls (or 5lvls) ahead of us... (Spain, USA, Brazil, Italy, etc.)

i would suggest, na siguro, top division teams from asia muna ang kalabanin, china, japan, korea, thailand... yun muna... baka nga dito matalo pa tayo... pero at least may laban...
