WELCOME Kilo! The nice part about this league is that even if you aren't winning as long as you log in we are usually very active on the Forums.. (making power rankings, and Preseason ALL-league, MVP race talk etc.) So at least that part is always entertaining.I haven't looked over the new teams in our league yet... I open the season with games against returning teams so i wont look at the newcomers until i need to prep for them.

yes we open against each other AGAIN... I hate having to play you first... It always throws off my plan for week 1 training minutes and also game shape and team enthusiasm... I would like it WAY more if BB allowed me to play one of the new promotes at least 1 time to open the season.....

Got my starting Center taken care of, so that's a good start. My starting guards aren't horrible, but their depth is. Depending on what I can find I may just splurge on a new SG, putting my old one as the back-up, and selling the two backup guards that I have. That'll probably be a 3 man rotation for the two guard spots, which is never ideal, but when you're a Forward oriented offense it hopefully isn't too big of an issue.

I'm currently at 218k salary, which is middle of the pack. Considering the ratings I put up at the end of last season, I expect to be a playoff team with my new shiny toy at Center. Time to see what Roman and Jestra can do when matched up with legit competition(and when they're healthy!!!)

I doubt I'll win. People keep thinking that because I don't post every week in the gamethreads on the offsite that I'm not fit to be the U21/NT manager, never mind I've been on the offsite longer than nearly all of them, doing the same things they're doing currently, five years before.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. As I said before, I'm not teeth-gnashingly, chair-throwingly, otherteamsGatorade-poisoningly competitive about these games, and I'll try to keep my sense of humor about me, but if I go silent for a while it's because I'm on top of a mountain emitting an earth-trembling Primal Scream.
I can even see the humor in the TV brainiacs choosing my opener, against Tragic, as their Game of the Week. Sado-Masochism Theater, I s'pose they'll call it. My players have asked if their faces can be blurred out, or if they can wear those Groucho Marx-style moustaches with the built in spectacles.
Someone suggested I sell my power forward, who last season won the first MVP in franchise history. You think 6'4 Brazilian PFs with Japanese names just grow on trees? How am I to break it to the guy? I guess that old chestnut, "Step into my office, 'cause you're motherf---ing fired."
