I'm going to try and save and make a one or two purchases late in the season, hopefully, I can make the playoffs without any purchases, but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't make it this year. This is kind of a training/ rebuilding year for me.

Good game. I'm surprised you beat me on low, but I guess 17 turnovers will do that to you.

Can anyone share why predicting an "inside" gameplan is incorrect for "inside isolation?" I find that a little odd.

Yeah good game to you too. Inside Insolation is considered a balanced offense, I am not sure why exactly. I guess the ball is spread around evenly until you can get your best big one on one or something like that.
You have a history of guessing my tactics so this time I made sure to switch it up and do something that was technically not an inside offense. Your 2-3 zone was smart though, it forced me to take more threes than I wanted to.

Inside isolation gdp is the same as base offense's aka balanced/normal

er.. it's a weird offense and no one is 100% sure what the outcome of it will always be (i dont like to use it ever unless im throwing off a gdp or it's an easy game)

basically one of your bigs will become the primary ball handler, like a PG... but at PF or C... i'm not sure if SF is involved. It doesnt mean he'll score, but generally a SF or PF may score most on this offense. Or a guard, since they can become open when all the attention is being paid to the big. It's not an inside offense at all, hence the gdp isnt inside. It's just that an inside player as i said before handles the ball the most.

if you have a big with good handling/passing/driving he should be amazing on this offense and you could consider it as a regular option though.

and it's basically vice versa with outside isolation, guard handles it primary, kind of like Harden for the rockets maybe? but not guaranteed that amount of scoring. It's possible though depending on your team build.

and i'll go back to my cave in barbados now ;)

12/9/15 Big 8 News:

- IBTWWW defeats the previously undefeated Washington Generals 85-79. With more than 10000 in attendance at The District, the Generals weren't able to stop the red hot team in IBTWWW. In further examination of the game, even though the Generals destroyed IBTWWW on the boards (64-46), they weren't able to capitalize on their chances shooting 33%. The most shocking stat of the night was that IBTWWW put their effort level on low and still got the victory.

- Cross-division play began yesterday. The top 6 all snuck out with victories Tuesday against the Great 8.

- The team to beat in the Great 8 (Tartans) will have a rough next three games with playing the Green Peppers, Washington Generals, and IBTWWW. These three games will more or less prove the better division.

- Clairemont continues to struggle. After a promising offseason, it seems as though Clairemont had to sell some assets and are now sitting 1-7 and 7th in the conference.

- West Palm Beach gains a win against the last place Jesters, but weren't able to pull off the upset against Team Turn Up putting them 2 games back of 5th.

- No changes amongst the top 5 besides the Mercy Buckets and IBTWWW changing places due to point differential. The Mercy Buckets had two easy victories and took advantage by outscoring the two 230-103.

- None of the five besides the Generals lost a game. Could be interesting seeing where the dominoes fall after cross-division play.

I'm actually very very very lucky to be in the great 8. I get to cruise through my season on a lower than average payroll while making more than I should because my fans are really happy because of my record while training my youngsters and investing in the draft.... my merchandise is actually through the roof now because of home-grown players & no roster shakeups

Lucky to sneak a win out against green peppers last night

Also interesting is the flurry of transfer activity so early in the season.... I have a feeling next year is going to be a breeze because the teams that don't promote will need to unwind...

anyways i'm looking to finish 17-5/18-4 this season and promote in the next 2-3 seasons using a home-grown build
