I like that idea. I'm still not sure it would make much effect on the market necessarily, other than possibly a level 3 guy making 17.5k with a good specialty may be worth buying cheaply since he'll go up quickly. Maybe if the ranges were compressed a bit so keeping a guy longterm could be feasible but not optimal, it would be better suited for the people who don't want to mess with their staff.

Someday I need to see how low a salary I can get on a lvl 1 staffer, too. I remember reporting it once that you could fire a guy and then go to his staff page and bid on him, and if he was fired before his salary built up then his salary would be under the $2000 normal salary. I don't think there's any real exploit there - it's too small an amount to care about - but it would be a nice screenshot.

I think this is a good idea.

There have been a lot of suggestions of any kind, good or bad, that were rejected because what a lot of managers like about the game is that it doesn't require you to log in every day, or every few hours, etc.

This is the part of the game that contradicts that notion. Building a team, winning a match, the league, will depend on the manager's skills, decision making, luck... The staff battle is won by the player with the most free time. It's not nice.

I did not know that. It would be cool if each staff member had their own page, and you could see where they've worked before.

It woul be much cooler if there would be an Experience level for every staff . We have skill level and Specialty , but it would be nicer if we have experience , The more experienced the higher the salary , for example , there are low salary Superior trainers but we can't afford the bid price . in this way we can see if the staff is worth bidding . the higher the experience the more efficient they get . its more of getting a Superior Salary Type staff that has a advanced skill level but by his experience he's doing his job on a Superior level .

This weekly raise makes me miss the old staff system, from the real early seasons, when only one staff would appear per week and you didn't what his level would be. So every week there was a lot of expectation if we would get a new level 10 trainer with reasonable salary or just another bum
