BB is a game of delayed gratification not instant. For the first couple of seasons I had a team I really did not get into it because of the languid pace. But once I got used to the pace it made a lot of sense, I actually have come to really appreciate the ebb and flow.

What needs to be done is to find a way to give us more between contests. I think this site should make moves towards being more about basketball in general, IE news/opinions from around the globe, there are lots of guys who will do write-ups for free and having this turn into not just a game but a site for international basketball news would give us the potential to reach a whole different audience. Plus that could be done without monkeying around with the GE. I think this combined with a soft sell approach to join the game will bring us more users.

My opinion is that the app launches with season 50. That is a year away, but launching the app with season 50 and a new look seems right.

I believe he will not answer till the start of the next season. Anyway is not much time to wait till then...

I agree with the not answer part. He never answers.

Last season's news said this: "The highly anticipated BB app is still in its early developmental stages. We will keep you updated on it's progress as it happens."

Based on that either there has been no progress or Marin doesn't do what he says.

I was thinking about an idea to supplement the game in a more "real basketball" way. Why not adding a fantasy NBA like Yahho/ESPN competitions? It is based on a daily assessment and is more connected to the real world. BB could organize fantasy leagues based on the BB League, or Private Leagues, or National Competitions.

Also I was thinking: in this direction, how cool would it be to have a fantasy BBB? People who follow the competition (like, for predictions) could actually draft the players from the teams competing and, based on their results, play in a tournament that lasts until the BBB elimination phase.

What do you guys think about this?
