I think 3 real life months a season is just right. It's not that long nor short. If the game speeds up, it will be boring as seasons passes by. I think what the game needs is more games a season. We could also do a continental cup. Where champs in Div. II in each country battles for something. Like BBB where Div. I, and National Tournament winners/champs battle for the BBB title. More interracial competition on, more fun. Same thing for Div. III, and IV. What do you think?

Every successfull mmorpg nowadays have atleast 1 always relevant activity per day to keep players constantly playing and thinking about the game.

I always thought additional server with like 4-8X the speed of current would do.

Other solution might be additional tournaments like you suggest. Maybe make every week new tournament which starts to the loosers, of other tournaments, so any team at any given time participates in atleast 1 tournament.

Also additional tournaments for league/conference winners would be nice, especially international ones.

You dont need to have prizes for wins, most people would battle for the trophy alone.

I feel that 3 am bidding thing. Its super annoying.

Reducing it into 1 min. would be a lot nicer. Some managers wait until the last second to bid. I guess its kind of a strategy, but overall irritating.

Give new managers bigger arena so they can skip the first boring part of saving money for expanding the arena. The player's growth is fast enough (10 to 20 pops for 18 yo during first season? Nice).
