You have to compare your ID with the offense of your opponents. Let's say your opponents have IS 11 and you play with ID 7. This is a huge mismatch and the GE will attack here. More actions will lead to a higher amount of fouls. Your player will block a lot of shots, but still your foul rate will go up.

If you are tanking and just training it almost doesn't matter. But if you try to stay competitive, you have to manage this.

Nach pointed out that it could lead to a serious foul trouble, so you might take that into consideration.

Yes I read, interesting point. I did not think about it.

But it' s also true that in my opinion the first thing to do is not to increase IS, in any way and at any price.

Simulation from buzzermanager:

20 ID,20 SB, 18 RB 3 IS= 81.396 k

20 ID,20 SB, 18 RB 6 IS= 116.504 k

9 IS= over 165 k

Eack skill up in IS is an useless blood draw for me.

If I have to lose 2 trainings for train SB....well....amen...i'm ready for this sacrifice

As the skills shown in your example is a big with low is and rb but high id and sb useful? Who would perform better, a IS ID RB oriented big or sb id oriented big?

My principal doubt is SB and then ID or viceversa. In Italian forum many managers write that id is very driven by sb but not exactly how much, also because sb is an untrained skill and therefore there is not much data available.

In the past a manager (Lemonshire) had explained why mathematically it's better to train SB before ID but I don't remember his explanation...
