If you want to see the impact of a skill on game performance check out the transfer market and you can learn a lot.

For example, search for players with atrocious free throw shooting and you will see a lot of guys who have gone like 0/25 at the line for the season. So, low free throw shooting skill means you miss a lot from the line.

You can use this method to help see the game impact of various skills.

Handling is an offensive skill. It'sa about how player can control the ball and such things.

OK, a fact, thanks. I read the rules - they a correct but not complete information. I did not question whether handling is an offensive skill. I was wondering whether there might have been also a defensive side to it.

I got the point.
