Everyone else considers training system a challenge.
For you it's impossible? Not everyone is a great manager. Learn you're players and create a training plan based on skill level and player stamina.

Hi.. am wondering, if my player's stamina is atrocious and I force him to play 48 minutes, what could happen? has anyone tried that before and is willing to share experience?

not saying that establishing a training system is impossible...i'm saying that at this point (because no one has told me different) that it is impossible to communicate with my coach about how many hours i want my players to play...

Exactly, also having two reserves helps. You can play them in the national cup/scrimmage game and then the minutes balance well.

This week, however was an exception because I played a double OT game, which destroyed my training plans.

The suggested new management of minutes is the basis for another basketball management game that sparked my interest for all of 2 minutes when I signed up. I really don't get the exact time thing in basketball. The game just doesn't play that way. Look at poor Lebron in the finals. He had to play 40+ minutes almost every game and was having cramping issues.

One thing I think might need to be looked at in BB is Stamina vs Game Shape.

I think the hard and fast rule of less than 80minutes a game is a little strange. From my last season I can give some example. I had a player with Atrocious stamina. I could play him as a starter 3 times a week since he only played 20 - 27 minutes a game. Now surely starting for 3 games a week and playing til you drop would decrease your game shape but his was strong - proficient.

An opposition player had a player with really good Stamina. He played 48 minutes a game easy. Only every subbed if the team was winning by 20pts. Now his bench replacement was actually his best reserve and better than most of his team but was hardly put on. Surely his gameshape should be based on a comfort level. If he was tired he would have been subbed no?

I love the Gameshape thing. Its great. I just think that by not having Stamina involved in it is a little unrealistic.

we don't...it was a suggestion of mine that i thought would make the game a little more user friendly...
