Even if you become a candidate now, you wouldn't deserve to win. Someone who'd care about this would have made the apply before.

@Astragoth: Still waiting for the answers

i have a different opinion to our portugese friends, the best candidate should win. So if you feel you are the best candidate, I would say, write a speech, post it and show everyone you are the best coach. If you can show this, I am sure you will win the voting...

I'm, too, have the opinion that the best should win. But the best should be an interested candidate. And an interested candidate should have prepared this candidature long ago. That's why I said that

PS: A good candidate would also answer every question asked to him. I'm sick of the "I'll only answer questions asked by the english comunity". In my opinion, that's xenophobism

Vasco, don't spoil your impressive record of contributing good ideas by playing the xenophobia card - there are two reasons I can think of for Astragoth not answering your questions, and neither of them have anything to do with you being Portuguese. Firstly, he might be taking the view that he'll only answer questions posed by people who actually have a vote in the election. Secondly he might decide not to answer questions from rival candidates - in some online games I play NT election rules actually bar candidates from asking each other questions because it can get very confrontational.

In this case, what I recall is that Astragoth did make some efforts to engage in your discussions, but not sufficiently to your satisfaction, and then announced that he wouldn't do so any more because the conversation had become too heated and not really conducive to enabling cool headed decision-making by the voters. I can understand why this annoys you, but I think goading him about it is really counter-productive, and I suggest you stop.

For the record, I agree with you about the late-coming Italian. Unless he's got a really, really good reason for only turning up here after the official closing date, then I'd much rather have someone else, someone who is committed enough to the cause of the England U21 to engage with the community in advance of the elections, like you did, or someone who is actually part of that community already for all its weaknesses, like Astragoth.

Edited: Because it is xenophobia, not xenophobism. Grammar police are on the beat.

I was just doing a favor to the community. Because the debate had been stoped for a while, I thought of asking some questions to the future coach ( as everyone says that will vote for him). And as I 'm behind in the race, you all should think of me like another comunity member. So, as an interested comunity member, I would like to know what will Astragoth do as U21 NT coach.

PS: He didn't stop answering when the debate got too heated up. He stoped answering when I confrontated him with facts he couldn't deny. ONe of them was mentioning names for his list that neither were scouts, nor tactical helpers.
