Thanks for the sentiment but you're doing a bit better than me even taking strength of schedule into account You didn't retool your roster week one and I neverrrr win games on buzzerbeaters.

I like that you're warning people ahead of time. It's not a dick move if you tell everyone you might do it.

It's certainly a lot better than if he didn't say anything. Still really sucks that it's allowed in general though. (and rewarded)

btw, i see that next week will be your first cup game vs. a team in the top 1200 USA / top 25,000 world (!!!) lol, perfect draw so far.

This is completely messed up. It's hard to believe what's happening and how badly it impacts the competitive balance of the league.

Well, it really wouldn't be that big a deal if all the tanking teams at least relegated. Like Dirk tanking hardly affects anything. (He's doing it like it was probably envisioned). The problem is that tanking teams are allowed to stay (so there's a bunch of them, no consequences)... while forcing competitive teams to demote. It turns the regular season into a farce.

Forcing all tanking team to relegate at the end of a season would solve the problem i think. Tanking should be a last resort / complete rebuilding project type of move only.

Yup. I've needed this light cup schedule. And *knock on wood* I need it to continue.

78 is a lot of points

my *backups* have shut down Nemesio in the first half: 2-15 shooting, 1 assist & 5 turnovers.

a lot of those shots game against my *worst* defensive guard too! (d3 level defender). looks like Nemesio was nervous playing in front of BuzzerBeater's #1 offense! (& afraid of getting exposed -- which he did) don't worry, i ordered my team to go extra easy on him in the 2nd half.

lol, your 3rd worst player (2935282) saved you in the 1st OT! (that very long 3pt shot). then you really punished MYO for not putting more effort in. (unless you normaled that is) a double OT loss is definitely among the worse ways to lose!

Interesting game with the Bruins & Thumpers... Bruins taking the 3 1/2 man squad of Reston lightly & winning by single digits.

Boom sells off a key guy & tries to compensate by playing harder. It's not enough & they lose by 3 to the Visionaries.

And the Mentality of Bullish city defeat the FTF in a blowout mostly. (20+ pt lead in the 4th quarter)

So i guess this qualifies as a high drama game night in the current state of the NBBA?

Yep that's as good as it's gonna get, at least until inter-conf ends!
My game didn't go at all like I intended and I fouled a ton, and then I won. Pretty confused, but happy. I feel bad for the guy who finishes 12-10 or something... and in 7th, and has to play whatever rent-a-team Brian conjures up :O

Myopic had it rough, after that lucky 3 his coach chose not to use any of his 5 remaining timeouts, saving them for a potential Taco Bell run in the 3rd OT.

Wow...a game I never expected to win...but then Thumbers play only 4 players + 1 Lucky Fan and I barely win. What a bizarre season...shouldn't we have done better? I don't know...

This could be the year Mexico wins the Euro Tournament!

He technically used 3 lucky fans. But losing that type of game is the risk you take by sitting out the "ginger giant"!!!

Yeah, you caught a huge break. 2nd place Reston only had 3 good players left / 4 total after yesterday's moves:
6/22/2012 - Reston Thumpers has just sold Malan Gorrea for $ 1 300 000.
6/22/2012 - Reston Thumpers has just sold Homer Frye for $ 1 750 000.

that gift road win makes up for 1 of your close home losses.
